Shivaji University Kolhapur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I did not face any Group Discussion, Interview for the admission. I had appeared for the Maharashtra State Engineering Common Entrance Test Exam and the score of this exam was taken as granted for me to get an admission at the institute.

The main reason to choose this college was it is the best college in western Maharashtra in the course which I have preferred (i.e. Chemical engg). Another is it has a good campus infrastructure with very nice facilities. College provides many opportunities in campus placements. Till now college dose not provide any internship during course time period.

Well, as per the record of our college placement there are server mechanical, information technology, electrical and electronics and also civil core company has come. But most of the companies are related to the IT sector and providing the average package of around 4lap. This year highest package is 25 lpa in our college.

Talking about placements students are eligible for placement for years too many companies like MNCs TCS cognizant nearly 40 to 50 companies visit our college for placement purpose cut off percentage for placement is 60% highest packages 25LPA and too may choose to get placed. 60 to 70% students get placed

After 1semestet of second-year students become eligible for campus placements, and every year on average 50 different compines visits, in which there are three B4 multinational companies and they made offers to almost every student above 89% , all students of getting 90% or more get placements , in my case I got an offer but not what I want so I denied it as I want to join a electrical appliances company and I am offered to join for maintenance of computer of beauty company some I refused it , but after my degree I go to Hyderabad for my job search and finally after a month go Jo in Wipro limited

Really had a positive vibe coming from the faculty members of the college when I first entered the college. I really like all of the teachers. They all are very friendly towards me and they always solve problems. The extracurricular activities at our college include research centers for all of the students so that they can gain some extra credit. There is also The positive thing about my course should be the availability of outreach programs for the students. There are seminars and conferences. Several personality development programs are available for the students so that they can gain good employment opportunities. My course of bachelor's of pharmacy is very well prepared by the management system. Also, the course is approved by the pharmacy council of India New Delhi and also the All India council of technical education New Delhi. I really like the course curriculum because it is not very difficult and it does not give me stress at all. All the curriculum is updated regularly by the university.

Let's explain this in chronological order. Anyone you need placement need to have 50% or more with degrees. Placements rate have high(let's say 70%) Most companies visited is amazon and Tech mahindra. Highest is 6.75 and lowest is 3.25 lakhs each. Now my goal is to Study MA and take a job in part time.

The campus placement is available. There is a dedicated placement cell in the university. The companies in which we apply for an internship during the summer holidays tend to pick u up on the completion of your degree. The average package is 3-4 lakhs. Students get placed in pest control companies or formulation companies. You can also open a pesticides shop or a pesticide manufacturing unit after this degree.

After the last semester of course students will have right to take placement by the college according to here marks and percentage. There are 10+ plus offered to join the new company for the students. The highest package is 50000 and the lowest is 20000 as per the courses and marks. I think after the my degree is completely I will take other degree course for get more educated in this field.

I choosed E&Tc because I have personal interest in this field. And the best thing about this field is that you can choose to go in IT or core of E&Tc easily. There are teacher different for every subject, some are assigned to only lab. Teachers are well qualified, some have done PhD also. There is fixed timetable for exam, which you get at the start of academic year, there can be a difference between 4-5 days of exam days mostly exams are carried out on given date in timetable. Exams are of medium level. Teacher will provide some important questions before exam which will help to atleast pass the exam.
