The campus is a lush green campus with all facilities for students
Huge sports ground and courts for different sport activities to play
Smart technology is used in classrooms for better understanding in lectures
Dislikes
Some of the equipments in the workshops are very old and not accurate
New canteen is pricey and doesn't deliver much compared to older canteen
College portal sometimes doesn't work properly as required
Placement Experience:
Before the Covid attack there was 100% placement rate in VNIT. But after that quite a few things have changed but overall we have got a good placement rate. Mid to top tier companies arrive for placements and internship.
The course curriculum is pretty standard and does give a lot of information to the student because everything taught is related except for what they teach in the first year . The first year is a common curriculum
Some Teachers are very good at teaching and understand the students problems
Dislikes
The annual fest like axis, aarohi, department gathering is worst in terms of organizing it
Mess quality is very poor, some times insects also found in it
Some teachers are very rude they dont even understand the students
Placement Experience:
students are eligible at 4th year for placement. many companies visit such as tata, adani ,etc. highest package is 64 lpa and the lowest is i guess 3-4 lpa. in my branch only 13.8% whereas in other branches it is 60-70%.my plan is to do masters .
College infrastructure is also good and it is improving by time
Some College Faculties are too good they exactly know what students want!!
Dislikes
College mess is disappointing, At first they provide good food but by time you will watch the quality is getting low
College organize the fest in very worst way, I don't have words for it they always break your expectations
College doesn't provide Junior-senior interaction
Placement Experience:
Placement of the core branches lower than mechanical is very low . Even Chemical Branch got only 7% placement. Even we don't expect from this college that we will get placement and there is strict eligibility of 7.5 CGPA for siting for placement.
Academic was good. Specially first year faculty members were very good.
Cultural activities and extra curriculam activities were involved in first year.
Library facility was good, we had enogh books for access and rferences.
Dislikes
Placement acivities were not at all. We had no incampus placement facilty at all.
Few faculty members were very partial towards rich students and they were somewhat biased.
Feedback mechanism was no there, there was only one way communication.
Course Curriculum Overview:
It wasnot very much practical. Although there were laboratory classes but educators were mostly focused on theoreticals only. Lab assistant and technical staves were not very good in their job. My only focus was getting good marks.
Great mentorship programme for guidance of students
Dislikes
Boys to girls ratio is really disgusting.. Like literally there are only 20 girls in our batch of 120 students.
The campus is relatively smaller than my home town iitb
The canteen of the college offers a very limited menu of food.
Course Curriculum Overview:
There are midsems and endsems in a semester once. Two exams in a semester. Which is okay. The curriculum covers each and every necessary aspect of engineering required in my field so it is not that bad.
First think I would like that the Professors of this college are brilliant and supportive.
College have very good sport facilities also.
There are many clubs in this college. Students can join according to their interest.
Dislikes
Not occupied total space of college .Most area is useless.
I think they should give more focus on placements.
Too much strict action against undisciplinary students.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose Btech in civil engineering according to my passion and interest .I have dream from my childhood to be an civil engineer and build a dream house ,society for people. This college provides all the things which are needed for this course .
I appriciated the diverse course and supportive faculty but the library and study area need more resoures and there could be more extracurricular activities for better student engagement................................................................
my engagement with campus life was positive, participating in clubs and events that help me meet new people. most interactions were friendly but sometimes if felt cliquish. overall i felt a sense of belonging though inclusivity could improve.........
the faculty expertise was impressive with many having extensive experience. their engaging teaching method included real world application. mentorship quality was high as they were approachable and genuinely invested in student in student success....
Course Curriculum Overview:
the curriculum influenced my choice due to its focus on practical skills and industry relevant topicswith hands on projects and case studies. improvements could include update content and more interactive teaching
The evergreen and melodious campus and the natural beauty of the campus
Dislikes
The strict 75 percent attendance criteria for students
Placement Experience:
The poacemnts are good . They can be better if the placement committee contact more companies. 100 % placement is there but the package varies. The highest package is 64 lakhs and lowest is 5 lakhs . In seventh sem you can sit for placement.
Reputation of College great outside as it is a National Institute
VNIT being a campus of 250 Acre has a very lush green campus.
Great Alumni Network Of the College so you required any help there are alumni sitting in every corner of world.
