Likes
- The number pf clubs and sports facilities available are great. There is olympic size swimming pool and rubber court for badminton and great facilities for all clubs.
- The fests and workshops conducted are free of cost. The best event is a 10 day event called institute gathering where all dept compete against each other in 100 different competitions ranging from rangoli to sports to plays which is the best.
- The lab facilities and placement committee is supportive and the research orientation of professors is appreciative. The curriculum is rigorous and gets you prepared for the job.
Dislikes
- The Attendence criteria is strict and some professors deduct marks.
- The compamies visiting the lower branches like metallurgy and mining offer lesser packsge. Companies like oracle only allow cs and circuit branch students
- There is intime for girls and you cant go out of college after 10 pm
Placement Experience:
The placement are good. They can be better if the placement committee contacts more companies. 100% placement is there but the package varies. The highest package is 45 lakh and lowest is 4.5 lakh.
In 7 th semester you can sit for placements. Companies like oracle, jsw, accenture, iocl, bpcl visit our college.
Profile range from core, software engineers to manager and analysts.

- The main thing I liked about our campus is that we have every facilities available like health centre where the treatment is free of cost and not like other colleges and the academics are the best everything is properly maintained
- The next thing is the amount of concentration they give to sports and activities and all the sports facilities are of good standard especially badminton
- The amount of clubs vnit have is a pretty good thing because everyone has the opportunity to join any one of the club like acting singing coding etc
Dislikes
- The main thing i disliked is the mess food the mess food is not upto the expectations everyday the food is almost constant mainly lunch and dinner and the taste of the food is ok ok
- The classes will be hectic it's not that if it is nit it does not mean we have many free time but everything will have their own time for sports and for studying
- The hostel in time is a big issue because the classes will be over at 6 and we have to enter the hostel at 8 so that's a big issue only for first years this issues not there for seniors 2nd 3 rd years
Placement Experience:
The campus placement is decent for non core as well as core because the highest package offered this year is 64 lakhs I think so and the avg is 13 lakhs for cse and for mining highest is 14 lakhs and avg is 10lakhs in mining engineering mostly everyone gets placed

- The classroom complex is pretty good and cool throught the day which makes it easier to study during summer.
- Library is very helpful. It has all the books you'll ever need and has fictional books as well.
- The swimming pool is very big. Altough its outdoor but the pool is big enough to lear swimming.
Dislikes
- Girl to boy ratio is just 20:80. Out of 118 students its only 24 girls.
- The mess food is pretty much just edible. That too sometimes because we have found bugs in our food like 5 times now.
- Just those few teachers which are very strict.
Placement Experience:
There are placements from 3rd and 4th year but they have some conditions. One of them depends on your CGPA which should be around 8.0 and the attendance should be 95% plus. The attendance is given base on the merit you get. Each class is 1 and each practical is 0.5. Placement are pretty good not grate.

- I liked the library as it has a lot of books and a really calm environment to study.
- The greenish environment throughout the campus makes it so lovely.
- The infrastructure of the hostels and classrooms are really good.
Dislikes
- The bathrooms can be made a little bit more cleaner.
- The roads in campus are a little bumpy and not regular.

Placement Experience:
Placements rates are really high here and the director and deans make sure that everyone is well prepared for the placements. They give good training for every student so that they are capable to get jobs during placements.

- my college campus is soo good here we have too much greenery
- sports complex in my college is one of the best . everyone can excel in sport here
- here gym facilities are too good and the experience we can have there is best
Dislikes
- hostel intime is too short for first years
- hectic schedule of my branch and the syllabus
- 75 percentage attendance rule for students
Placement Experience:
placements are good here ... almost everybody gets placement here in my branch and outside there are opportunites because of the increase in the production of the bionic chips etc due to boom in india after finding mines of silicon

- Cultural integration,sports facilities are good,fests are good
- Security for girls is good..As we have a closed campus
- Greenery around the campus always makes students feel close to nature
Dislikes
- Mess facilities are average not that good
- academic pressure is quite high for an average student
- There are lot of restrictions on girls like intime
Placement Experience:
Placement for circuital branches are very nice compared to other branches...but talking about my branch that is Metallurgical and Materials engineering number of students getting placed is good but average package is not that good

- I love greenery here campus in beautiful
- I like the rules for girls safety. It is very safe .
Dislikes
- The maximum faculty are worst . If u r reading this let me tell u Ashwin gaikwad worst prof in vnit .he doesn't even know what to teach and how to teach . In hindi course children hardly score 30/100. Which is passing. On our batch maximum was 45/100
- Professor (not every but maximum) come and do idiotic things instead of teaching and doesn't give marks.
- The college doesn't have to do with children future . On May a student commit suicide. Friends said he had many backlogs. The chapter was closed wisely nothing happened against the college. If u r reading pls take step against it
Course Curriculum Overview:
Entire vnit needs to be altered in case to teaching purpose. It really hard to score good. They don't know how to teach students. And 75% criteria hits hard . It's very shameful that you are receiving salary and doing nothing . Exams are difficult as campe to teaching level

- I liked that in our chemical department, faculties and even HOD are very supportive. I needed help during my father's treatment they were always ready to listen and provide help. So supportive they are. If u have idea they are ready to support you.
- Girl to boy ratio is 1:3. Campus is clean, green and pollution free. It rains a lot here in nagpur so campus has a great vibe and nature to sooth ur mind.
- Teaching methods of faculties are effective and everyone has PHD degree. We get internship opportunities as well as great career advancement opportunities in our college. Companies like Cisco, Dashcom, Accenture, ITC, Johnson Johnson, and more.
Dislikes
- Mess food needed to better, with more quality options.
- Vehicles are not allowed, so lot of money get wastes in exploring the city.
- Washrooms of old hostels are not good and low air circulation in our class room, a big hall for 100 people need to have some ACs.
Placement Experience:
From 5th semester student become elligible for campus placement( internships)
From 7th sem for jobs.
TCS, Infosys, ITC, Johson Johson, Goldmann Sachs, Accenture, Cisco, BPCL, Dashcom, and many more.
60% student get placement as 40% have back or less cgpa or didn't apply for placement.
Highest package in chemical is 19 LPA, Median is 9.46 LPA, And average is approx 7 to 8 LPA
I Would go for startup and will give GATE Exam to try for PSU as placement is less in our college.

- weekly we have 2times chicken and one day egg, and also daily morning we have eggs and bananas to eat which is good for health as it is comprising of protiens. and even bread with butter and jam.
- as comparing to others nits , we got good hostel rooms with good lan connections and 24/7 water and current supply. we also have geezer for hot water throughout the year. now for 1st year students they got 3 seater rooms with a balcony attach to room
- placements are far better here comparing to other nits, and most of our seniors got intern who having cgpa of min 7-7.5. it is good for techinical sector
Dislikes
- talking about my dislikings, here the weather is not good in summer more temp and in winter more cold. which we cant adjust
- most of the students want to enjoy after studying that hard in intermediate, but here there are no good places to visit with friends, which i also suffered
- as i am from cse department, i felt that it is good if they will teach cpp or java from 2nd year because in it indrustires all are doing in cpp or java, and we are doing in c ,which will become tough
Placement Experience:
For campus placements - 3rd year 5th sem and 6th sem. 2 placemetns sections will be held one at 5th sem and other at 6th sem.

- The greenery in the college is best and I like it
- The faculties are very friendly and they supporters in every situation
- The food quality is best here and good environment is there
Dislikes
- There is no AC in the room so in summer it is very difficult to survive
Placement Experience:
Mostly our campus placement is very good but if there is no campus placement we often try for of campus and our vnit illuminaise structure is so strong that most of the students get placed in the next month after getting the degree
