Course Curriculum Overview:

I got admission to Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar Punjab in the course of msc USHS Physics. I have completed one year of my course now. There are almost 38 students in my class group. All the students and staff of my department is very friendly and helpful. All the professors of the Guru Nanak Dev University are well qualified and are very intelligent. The professors are always ready to give their advice and guidance to the students for their bright future and also they keep on guiding their students about the various job opportunities. The exam pattern is also very well organized and great. There midterm exam pattern in the Guru Nanak Dev University. The marking scheme is divided into 20 and 80 marks exams. The level of exam is tough and it needs to study with focus to get good marks in the exams. In all, I liked the physics department of Guru Nanak Dev University very much. I feel very lucky and proud to be a student at the Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar Punjab.

Remarks:

I chose this college because it was near my house within 8 kms distance. For getting admission, first you need to purchase a prospectus & admission form & fill all the required details with around 6 passport size photographs which will be used by college & Guru Nanak Dev University for giving exam roll numbers. The faculty is knowledgeable about their subjects. Good points of college are it has a student area where they can sit & do their pending work. It has a big library having lot's of books which students can get issued for reference of any subject in case of difficulty or getting extra knowledge. The Principal is a kind person. Bad points include - infrastructure like furniture is not comfortable & requires upgradation. Rooms are a little old fashioned & has bad smell too. Placements are limited.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is active in our college. Students become eligible for placements from the 3rd year. Placement cells provide a good opportunity to the students. Many reputed companies visited in our college. Like zomato, wirpo, Byju's they offer good placement to the student. The average package that was offered by companies was 2-3 Lacs and the highest package was 7-8 Lacs. The percentage of students getting placement is 60% which is not bad. My plan after my degree is to pursue my master's degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are around 60 talks for every subject every semester with 5 subjects. Nearly educators have done P. Hd. while some have to progress P. Hd. furthermore, few have done bosses in the field. For the most part, instructors are old enough 25-30 with certain educators having ages of 50-55. A few instructors have mastery in their field additionally with their industry experience or examination lab experience while some don't have the aptitude and need information. Aptitude educators clear questions of understudies well while others need this.
