- Placements are not that great in this college are average package is around 3.5 lpa which is not great.
- The hostel is bad , there are problems with facilities and also mess

- Students can not enter college after 10 am even though you are sick or for any other reason you're not allowed to enter college campus after after 10 am
- So basically there are two engineering colleges under cgc - cec and coe and more preference is given to cec students and coe students are highly partialated on many basis.

After completing 6th semester students became eligible for getting campus placements and many companies like Google Microsoft Amazon Flipkart prime fox and many other companies making it 800 in total visit college for campus placements around 80% of students gets job in campus placements. highest package for cse is 54 lpa in 2023 and average package was 8lpa

- I liked the faculty the staff and the show they organise
- I liked their alumni network they have designated stars as their alumni
- They have a special placement cell for placement

- They have a small campus it’s like 50acre only
- Outside the Chandigarh no one knows the name of cgc
Placement Experience:
From six sem a student became eligible for placement the company that visit the cgc landran most is tech mahindra tcs wipro etc the highest package is of 40lpa and the average is 4lpa 95 percent student gets placed in the college placement i will join the job that i will get

- I like the faculty members of the college
- Campus is very neat and clean and very big in area wise
- This college provides many internship to the students to learn and update their skills
Dislikes
- Hostel food is not very delicious it's ok.
- The college timing is very lengthy because it's start from 9 am to 5 pm
- The lifts are less so students have to climb the stairs to reach there classes
Placement Experience:
The highest placement of thecolle is 34 lakhs which is in Microsoft and the average placement of the students is 6 lakhs. I got 7.3 cgp in all the 8 semesters which is pretty well and I also placed in BOSCH company for 10lakh package.

- Well equipped laboratory: experiments are performed nicely and lab attendants are also supportive
- Canteens are a lot. So have fun with your friends
- Faculty is quite knowledgeable and experienced
Dislikes
- I personally didn't liked Some teachers. Well, this happens everywhere we go ,so don't worry much.
- During placements, mostly sales company come instead of you subject related
- Hostel foods are not much hygiene. Once a rat was found in food
Placement Experience:
Highest package offered for bsc biotechnology students was about 6-7 lakhs. Average placement is of 3-3.5 lakhs. Biotechnology companies come for placement but sales company gives most placement in my year.

- I like the college environment behaviour of the staff
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is very good.
They give your real time education with the help of ppt and presentations you and help you in your education
They help you in every possible way students in staff are also well behaved .

- College has a supportive staff and experienced professors with PHD and post graduation.
- Facilities of training and placement cell which help students enhance their personality
- Decent placements in all branches including core branches also.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Curriculum is up to date according to the new technologies. Many new technologies like devops are also included in the curriculum. There are 2 MSTs and one ESEs for a subject in the semester and there are 5-6 subjects per semester

- Free wifi facilities were available to us
- Wide area for parking vehicles where you can park your vechiles
- Large number of computer were available to us in computer lab

- Public transports are big problem for day scholar
- Less number of seats in canteen where you can sit with your freinds
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is very good.
Very interesting subject are available in the syllabus.
You will not get bored with them.
Mostly subject in the course are practical knowledgeable.
All u need to is just focus on them.

- Firstly thats an Engineering college so everyone has to spend their first year in applied sciences department to clear basics and learn everytype of skills required , so the basics were delivered so efficiently,faculty actually made you learn things.
- Basics delivered clearly would really help for another 3 years and its very easy to get familiar with college campus and social interactions are based on the person himself , if he/she can makeout , things are too easy
- Faculty provide a great mentorship and career advices , they organise a 20day induction program just to mentor the students efficiently
Dislikes
- infrastructure is way too Old , though those things dont get bad but they look shabby
- Classes are not air conditioned which make difficult in summers
- they just need to work on the whole infrastructure , amke it new , walls get painted , rooms get AC's , things would be better than ever
Placement Experience:
Placements do happen , but its the student whose capability matters , the faculty prepares you well , takes you to the recruiters , afterwards its your ettiques and capabilities , skills that will take you to companies , students are eligible from 7-8 semester , average package is 3.5 lakhs while highest went upto 51 lakh , before i get my degree , i will be an intern in amy comapany gaining experience and gaining it until i get a good Job.

- It has a great friendly and coding environment.
- The faculty is helpful and supportive and available at any time.
Dislikes
- The campus is very small as compared to other colleges.
- There are less celebrities coming and lesser events.
- The hostel’s washroom is not upto the mark in terms of cleanliness.
Placement Experience:
Various companies like Adobe , Amazon visit to the campus of the college and hire interns starting from 3rd semester onwards. I want a degree and then will get a job in a respected company and then will follow my dream.

- College is very huge and gigantic with some beautiful views
- Hostel premises is very nice and clean and have great looks.
- Campus contains of 3-4 huge parks where we can sit and have fun.
Dislikes
- Hostel mess food is not too much of good quality
- Hostel premises contains of not too much of good quality of toilets
- Campus doesn't have any personal hall for students
Placement Experience:
The highest package of the college last year was 3500000 per annum and the lowest package was of 340000 per annum for the basic engineering department. Every year almost 80% of the students get campus placement.
