I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University Jalandhar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I chose this course because I am interested in this technology field. My course is Btech CSE (AI&ML). Now days AI is growing so fast so this filed is secure and have good scope. The faculty and student ratio is 70:1 the faculty is so much better and cooperative. They understand our problem and give best solution. All the faculty is PhD Holder or Masters, their teaching methods is good we all understand what they teach us. Every 4.5 month college conduct semester exam. And the paper questions are tough you have to read well to pass the semester exam

Teachers are well qualified and almost all teachers are done their PHD and Masters and having 10-15 years experience in teaching profession Students ratio is about 50 in class and total college students is more than 3000 It is very easy to cleat all exam because teachers provides notes as well as presentation to students

My family members Suggest me to do this course Faculty member is about 500 All most every teacher having good qualification from good University Exam are not so much difficult but it is taken by three times in per semester which is easy to cover the syllabus

According to my seniors, placement were good till 2021 but after COVID batch few companies backed off in 2022 . Average placement of CGC LANDRAN betch CSE is 4 lac. Which is not that good but it also depends on student cause many of our seniors got placements of 30 lac as well.

From the sixth semester students are eligible for campus placements. There were Wipro, amazon, and many more companies are visiting our college. The highest package is 17 lakh and the average placements package is 3.5 lakh.

After completing 3rd year students are eligible for internships and also can apply for permanent jobs at the same company or institute which they can join after completing their degree. Different multinational companies visit for recruitment like TCS, info sis, and Samsun Wipro. Which provides very good packages for instance 15 to 24 lakh per annum. Percentages depend on the company's requirements. However, I chose further studies.

If I talk about placements I would say there is very few opportunities of placments. Most of the companies that visit in the college are mass recruiters only and they offer job of 2-3 lacs per annum. Some of the highlighted companies are TCS, Argusoft etc. Students are eligible for placements in the start of 4th year ( 7th Sem ). Highest placement that offered in this college was 7 lacs per annum. And most students gets 2-3 lacs placement here. If I talk about how many students gets placed here I would say It totally depends on your skills. But only about 10-20% students gets palced here. Rest of them have to try for differnet ways to get employment.

It is an average college so its placement is also average. For civil engineers companies like LNT and SAPOORJI PELONJII and many more. The highest package is about 12-15 lakhs. To get placed in a good company.

From 5th semester students are eligible to get placement. Companies like Infosys, Honda TCS visit here. And few not so popular companies visits. Package offered by them are 3 LPA, 8LPA, 3.5 LPA respectively. 25% students gets placed. I am targeting for placement. So after degree I want to be in office ????
