SRM University Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

As far as i know the college have good placement scenarios , you you are doing well in your academics then you can easily get placed here . Any company vists the place for placement and there are many dream and super dream offers

The placement status at the time when I came to college was quite good somewhere around 10 LPA was the average then next year when the recession came the crunch was there but this year the placements are going quite good

At 6th semester companies come for placement and there are more companies which I am not aware of according to research the highest package is 60lpa(don't whether it is true). About 80 percent of students get placed and 15 percent goes for higher education don't know about the remaining 5 percent . I am opting for higher studies.

i would rate is 8/10 there is a space for more improvement the curriculum has to be more strict so that the students follow it seriously and properly exam structure and schedule at university is more hectic and it is actually good for students to learn and cope with the studies

All the students eligible for placements shall register with training and placement office (TPO) at the end of the 6th semester as per annexure. All students should have minimum aggregate CGPA of 6 without any backlogs apart from satisfying the criteria specified by recruiting organization/ company which may differ to company to company. 99% of students will be paced. I will get a job which satisfy my both financial and curriculum oriented.

Eligibility for campus placement is three year 6 semester Ibm company visited and then so much of company was visiting in our university. So much as providing highest and average packages then provide to profile

The course curriculum for Artificial Intelligence was designed by the University which is so good that we have learnt the basics and improvisation techniques about Ai and machine learning and we also had foreign languages in our first semester and other important computer science topics like data structures and algorithms etc

The placements here are good but like any other private college you have to maintain your CGPA to get higher packages . According to past placements the top 10 companies have offered jobs to students with a CGPA of 8.5 or higher. The placements starts from ending of 7th sem.

course is good it corresponds to real world problem and prepare us for real world approach and help us more over exam some labs class are made in way to help up and develop our technical temprament. apart from using old school method which are not used currently they teach us current world machine. for instance C++/Python/Java lab, AutoCAD lab etc. frequency of exam is good 3CT(cycle test) in a sem and after that UT( university exam) in a span of 6 months in between we get enough time to prepare. the area i would like to highlight in course is length of course though it is up to date but some chapters of no use can be eliminated from syllabus.

Placements are pretty good in SRM ,it claims of having 98%confirmed placements. Eventhough all not having a good lpa but most around 6 -10. Having backlogs will really in caneclation of placement. Not much training is given for off campus placements
