My father is an famous advocate in our district so I was inspired by him. And wanted To make proud by doing justice to the profession he pursued. Also I chose Thisbe profession in order to never a people?s person. To be a leader rather than being a follower. A simple girl with dreams to achieve bigger.
After completing the 12th standard,i applied for Bsc chemistry. But due to the medical reasons i could not able to attend join that course. I also applied for Bsc agriculture in Coimbatore agricultural University but they rejected my application. Finally i decided to apply for law course in tamilnadu Ambedkar law University called SOEL. Some students would not go looking for but they prefer consultancy office, some students will go for competitive exams, others go for practicing lawyer, some of us work for law firm. Companies offered,TATA consultancy, HCL technologies, TATA motors,
I applied for the admission through online . The admission procedure is pretty simple nothing complicated. You just have to fill the application form which is available online as well as offline on the website and you have to pay a registration amount for the same. After you have registered yourself the university releases the cut off and if you qualify the required marks then you are called for counselling to get your documents verified.
The job opportunities and placements are satisfactory. There are banks and various leading law firms that come for recruitment. As of for internships the college does not provide internship but it does give you inputs about the requirements in the industry. You can get an internship on your own if you want as the even after college you have plenty of time left.
I chose commerce as my main stream after the 10th grade. I decided to Opt for B.COM.LL.B for which the cutoffs were minimum aggregate of 60% in my 12th grade, as I belong to SC category. I scored an aggregate of 75% , so I was eligible. The rest process was simple, as all I had to do was fill the application form of the college with an application fee of Rs. 250.
The internship and placement cell handles all the job and internship oppurtunities. It connects to different Law firms and corporate companies. In last year, my seniors batch got a median salary of 2.95 Lakh/annum. The highest package offered was 4 Lakh/ annum, so placement scenario is still mediocre.
My entire admission process was pretty smooth. As I was from the General category, I had to at least score a minimum aggregate of 70% marks in my 12th grade, whereas I had an aggregate of 83%. All I had to do was download the admission form from the official site of the college, fill it and submit in the college with a processing fee of Rs. 500 which is quite nominal. If one belongs to SC/ST category, the cutoff is around 60% aggregate which is quite good for them.
We have a placement cell which take care of all the internships and placement process. Corporate companies and law firms visits our college. The average package is around 3 lakh in Rupees which is not high but quite satisfactory for a fresher in this field. The heighest in my batch was around 4.1 lakh. So, the overall placement scenario is quite good.
To get the admission in the college I filled the application form which is available on their official website and the selection is done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. After which the cut off are announced and you are called for counselling to get your documents verified.
NO, The college does not provide you with the internships but the working hours of the college is 4 hours and so you have enough time to do an internship which have to get on your own. However the placements are good the average package is 4 to 6 lakh and the highest goes to 7 to 10 lakh.
This college is really a nice place to study. The discipline in the college is very well maintained. The office administration is not that much good. The faculty is well educated and highly experienced.
I got direct admission in this college. As I am pursuing the integrated LLB program which needs at least 70% in 10 + 2. Admission in various courses in this college is done based on qualifying exam marks. There is no entrance exam will be conducted by this college.
Best infrastrutture fully air conditioned class rooms and neat toilets and washroom. Lift services are there and full WiFi services. Library with computers and all materials and books better education is provided with the given resources.
The application process begins in June every year, and you can apply for the same. The college has an entrance test, and the selection is based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The LLB program has a total of 120 seats.
College placements are good. Attending college can help you in terms of employment, but there are no better placements for a law course, especially a 3-year LLB course. But you gain enough knowledge and can get a job easily.
