Galgotias University Greater Noida Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

After the 6 semester students can sit for the campus placements.Various companies like byju,amazon come to this college for campus placements.You just have to maintain a good cgpa that is around 8 or above.

as i came from an arts background, I wanted to switch my career to IT industy, so the only best option available for me is to choose MCA. so i opted for this course. the course curriculum is well-designed and helps the students to gain industry experience. the exam frequency is high, we have to give internal exams and main exams twice a semester.

In my university students from their 3rd or second last year become eligible for campus placement this year company named Deloitte comes for hiring and students also get self place out of the campus highest package is 12 lac and the average is 3 lac cause of layoffs only 5 percent students get place this year

Galgotias Uniersity provides good placement rate with an average package of 5.25 lpa. However placement rate and package may differ in different programs. The highest package of BTech CSE last year was 1.5 Crore which was international. Galgotias offers several programs in around 17 different schools each of which comes under CPDD ( Carrer Planning and Development Department).

About placements, they are average. I would not recomend to come to this college if u are trustung on on campus placement. You would need a more than 8.5 cgpa if you want to sit on campus placement. If you have extra ordinary skills then you can easily crack placements. But for average students its hard to get placements here. Highest package is something around 30,00,000 last year. and average is like 6,00,000LPA. If there are like 10 students who sit in placements then 8 will get placed. whicih is like 80%. I will try to score 8.5cgpa so that i can sit in plcaements. My second option is to opt for off campus placement after getting degree.

The placement rate of University is not 100% it is 50 to 60% where average package s 500000 to 600000 LPA. The students are eligible for placement in their 6th semester which is end of 3rd year. Companies such as Infosys, Amazon, TCS, Deloitte, Hero corp etc. The highest package is 1.5cr which was offered by OpenZeppelin. I am not considering in campus or off campus placement as I'll be persuing higher studies.

The placements are not that good but not that bad also, like it depends on you if you're maintaining good cgpa in your last 2 years then you can get good placements here, and apart from that you can get jobs from linkedin or other areas

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Recently hcl visited the university and it took around 45 students at a package of 680000 rupees per annum. Highest package a student got is of 1800000 rupees. More than 70 percent got placed last year

Curriculum is comprehensive and also contains practical classes also, the useless subject is not given high weightage, The programming part is a little bit easy, also online courses are provided by the university for free, The GUVI app is there for programming practice and learning

Placement is normal, only few studnts take very amzing packages else student take pacakage around 10L, students who sit off campus will get very good placement, on campus highest 50L package will get, GCET and GU has there placement round together
