Placement Experience:

Our seniors are placed in top companies with a max package of 45 lakhs per annum and an average package of 7.5lpa. We highly appreciate their efforts for such great achievements. I hope we break up the limit and make the college proud.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are great here and students are eligible for placements after the 6th semester onwards and this process goes on till the 8th semester with many companies hiring students from different branches. The highest package is 50-60 lac per annum and the average packages are 7-8 lac per annum. About 70 percent of students are able to get placements from the campus itself. My plan after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a valuable MNC

Remarks:

Process of admission is pretty smooth. Placements are better than most of the private colleges. Big companies like Amazon, Adobe etc come here for hiring students. Almost 95% students are placed every year. I chose this college because it was near to my hometown, Placements were good and was the best option i got according to my rank

Remarks:

Among all private colleges in NCR(Delhi region), the average package provided by my college is best. So many giants visit here like Amazon, Adobe, D. E. Shaw, Grofers etc. I chose this college because it was near to my home town and also because Amazon visits here. The only con is It's fees it's around INR 2 lakh for each year and if you want hostel that would cost you another INR 1.25 lakh. For admission you need to visit there website. www.jiit.ac.in and fill up admission form there. Also you need to have qualified JEE Mains and the maximum cutoff rank is 60,000 of JEE Mains.

Remarks:

Its located at the prime location of noida not like other colleges which are located in the outskirts of the city, it has metro connectivity and mode of transportation is easily available here. The coding culture in the college is very good and is among the best coding colleges of india and you can see the students in different comptetions along with the students of IIT's and NIT's.The campus is small since it is located at the prime location but it is very well constructed. So the admission depends on the mains rank of yours and you can apply by going to there website and you can apply after getting your mains rank. The reason for preferring this college was it has great coding culture along with the prime location and the rank of the college is also pretty decent and its better than the private colleges of india, infact its better than most of the government colleges of india except IIT's and NIT's, still if you work hard here you will get ample of opportunities.

Placement Experience:

Placements are allowed for students here from the 7th semester. A wide variety of companies visit here. The main attractions being Amazon and Infosys. The highest package is 30LPA CTC and on average 5-7 LPA. 100% placement is the claim for CSE students.

Remarks:

When i was searching for college,i tried to pick up those colleges which are known for good placements and have a decent ranking overall India. So, I found out Jaypee and some of the students studying there also suggested me that i should join this college. In those days, ranking of Jaypee was near about 54 in India. At that point of time,i just used to see the highest placement of college(Which is not an ideal way to search a college.Rather, colleges should be searched by average placements) which i found out to be 27lpa by an ECE guy namely, ayush jaggi. So,after talking with few peoples,i sat in its counselling process which is based on mains Ranking. Firstly, I filled a form charging 1200rs for its counselling process. And counselling process went on for 2 days in which we have to fill a form mentioning the priority of branches which we want. 4 year program and dualdegree program for CSE,ECE,Biotech were available to fill. Also, students were being called rank wise. For eg.student having rank 1 lakh will be called first and the one having rank 1.2 lakh will be called latter. So,in first day of counselling,CSE both dual degree and 4 year program were filled and 4 year ECE program was also filled.4 year ECE was available in 128 sector campus(as there are two campus of jaypee, one in sector 62,second in 128) but CSE seats were filled for bot.Unforh the campuses. So,i got dual degree ECE program.I just blindly join the program as at that time,my focus was only on highest placement. But,later i realise various cons for this program as well.Pros of College and Program:-1.You get to interact with people of different places.2.You get enough spare time in college for performing other activites.3.Have a very good coding culture and top class coders across india.4.Better protocols than school like you are not necessarily required to sit whole day in the same class. You can leave the class if you dont want to attend it.5.Infrastructure for sector 62 campus is good.Cons of College and Program:-1.Dual degree students are subconsiously considered poor performers and marks are awarded accordingly.2.There are few faculties in college who used to unneccesarily torture students and most importantly, you cannot complaint against them when they are your major or minor faculties. As,they understand the fear of students very well(i.e. students dont want low marks ) so they can make use of it.Unfortunately,i got one such faculty in my 3rd year and he tortured me a lot and i even dropped a mail to HOD for that but no one responded. But there are good faculties as well.Only a few of them are having this level of arrogance.3.ECE students are not allowed to sit in various good companies offering higher ctc like amazon, intuit etc.4.There are good subjects in the course like Life Skills but that is also taught in a way that serves the purpose of scoring marks.Faculties used to say that you have to write from only what is being taught from ppt's,you cannot use your own words while writing the answers.

Remarks:

The reason for choosing because of it's academic prospects. Very updated and effective curriculum with a good teaching faculty. The assessment system was also good compared to other colleges in the same area. In the bad aspects, projects assigned and labs were not successful to provide enough learning of the field and subject. Admission is on the basis of JEE Mains Rank. The admission process started on 24th July'2016 and after giving a preference of streams, the respective was assigned. I saw a review of my college at www.shiksha.com

Placement Experience:

People are eligible for the placement from the 6th semester itself. Many (many means alot) of companies visit JIIT. Avg package is 5-6 lacs for CS students and not sure about the Electronic and communication branch. The highest package doesn't matter in my opinion but it's around 40 lacs I guess. The percentage of students getting a job is quite high which is 95% may be provided that you have maintained a reasonable CGPA. I am planning to get a decent job after getting my degree in hand.
