UPES Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

There are good placements. Many companies visits the campus for placements every year because university has signed MOUs with many companies (some oil PSUs also) and course curriculum is according to requirements of industries so companies prefer our university for placements. Average package is little less approx 5 lakh per annum but more than 90% students have a job after the graduation from this university.

Students become eligible for college placement from 7 semester All the big tech companies like Google Microsoft Highest package is 75 lpa 89% students got placements last year Do a job in a good company

As I had science PCM in my 10+2 and I was quite decent in mathematics so I decided to pursue B.Sc honours mathematics as my course in the university. UPES has one of the best faculty members for the maths department. There were adequate number of faculties and the total strength of our class was 14. All the faculties were highly qualified and had innumber of research papers published on their name. As the subject mathematics is itself very complex so it was obvious that it was difficult to manage a good score in the subject.

Since the 6th semester the placement begin but when the students tend to be more exceptional in their field of education and go beyond their nornal curriculum they can achieve further heights and more better .

From 5th or 6th semester i guess students become eligible for campus placements. Companies are good. Recent highest package by 2023 was 50Lakh i guess. Percentage rate and all, i dont have much idea yet.

Students are eligible for placements from 6th semester IBM, Microsoft, Amazon, Barclay, and other companies also Percentage of students getting placed is above 90% My plans after getting the degree are for business or a high end job

The faculty memebers are well trained and highly qualified and have the important industry knowledge and are therefore know what is important to be taught to students to make them industry level perfect

I am really not yet much aware about the placements but it usually begins from 8/9th semester (for law students) and as far as i have hear from the seniors the law placements are quite upto the mark and college is really helpful in so

From end semester the student is eligible for camps placements. Releince , Amazon , Google etc and more big and developed companies took part. Package depends on one's availability and skills so it's can be around 15 lakh per annul. Percentage is around 60 to 70 from 100. My plan is to get good position in the cooperate sector and get more and more development.
