About NMIMS Bengaluru MBA

NMIMS Bengaluru offers a two-year, full-time MBA with 240 seats a year on its Bannerghatta Road campus. You apply once, and the degree leads to six courses: the general MBA and the Finance, Marketing, Analytics, HR and Operations specialisations. Entry is through NMAT by GMAC, then a competency test and an interview. The tuition fee is INR 22 Lakhs for two years, the same for every specialisation, and a two-sharing hostel room adds INR 6 Lakhs. NMIMS holds NAAC A++ and AMBA accreditation, and it does not publish a Bengaluru NMAT cutoff. The Class of 2026 averaged INR 13.5 LPA, with a median of INR 12 LPA, from 122 recruiters.

NMIMS Bengaluru MBA Eligibility

You need a bachelor's degree in any subject with 50% marks in all. NMIMS offers 30% of MBA seats to women. Final-year students can apply, and the seat stays provisional till you pass. You also need an NMAT score, and NMIMS counts only your first attempt.

NMIMS Bengaluru MBA Scholarships

The biggest award is the PM Scholarship for CAPF and Assam Rifles wards, INR 72,000 over two years for a girl. NMIMS publishes no merit fee waiver for this MBA. Other help comes from central schemes, and you apply through the Admission Cell and the national scholarship portal.

Placement insights

Hiring comes from four groups: banks and finance firms, consulting firms, consumer and retail brands, and tech firms such as Dell, Oracle and Wipro.

Of the 122 recruiters, 72 came for the first time and 50 came back, so the list changes a lot from one year to the next.

The top tenth of the batch averaged INR 22.41 LPA, so a few large offers pull the average INR 1.5 LPA above the median.

Pay dipped from the 2025 batch: the average fell from INR 14.12 LPA to INR 13.5 LPA, and the median from INR 13 LPA to INR 12 LPA.

Good to know

Summer internships come after year 1; the Class of 2027 got a median stipend of INR 30,000 a month from 91 recruiters.

The 2026 batch got 24 pre-placement offers, which are jobs offered by the summer internship firm.

The pay figures are the first year's cost to company, and the top offer of INR 30 LPA was a job in India.
