Mother Teresa Women's University (MTWU) is a public university located in Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu. It was established in the year 1984 by the enactment of Tamil Nadu Act 15. Its aims to extend its service to women students of all communities. It offers various UG, PG and Doctoral Courses in multiple disciplines.
The university has also Department of Distance Education in which it provides the variety of courses at distance mode. Admission to Mother Teresa University is done through merit list. Candidates having graduate degree in relevant discipline with required marks are eligible for admission to masters programs. While for undergraduate courses, applicants should have passed class 12 with minimum 50% marks. Applicants seeking admission to Ph.D. program must have master’s degree.

Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is a state-level exam, organized by Anna University. The exam is conducted for admission to M.E., M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Arch. and M.Plan. The minimum TANCET Eligibility is graduate degree. Interested and eligible candidates can submit TANCET Application Form on the official website of exam.
