JLU BMS FAQs
Ques. What is the difference between BMS (Business Analytics) and BBA at JLU, and which is better for a career in data and management?
Ans. BMS (Business Analytics) at JLU is specifically designed for students who want to combine core management education with data analytics skills, making it ideal for careers in business intelligence, data consulting, and analytics-driven management roles. BBA, on the other hand, is a broader management program without a specific analytics focus. If you are interested in working with data, tools like Excel, SQL, Python, or Tableau in a business context, BMS (Business Analytics) is the better choice. Both programs are 3-year full-time degrees and have similar fee structures, but BMS (Business Analytics) offers a more specialized curriculum.
Ques. Does JLU BMS (Business Analytics) have industry tie-ups or certifications that add value to the degree?
Ans. Yes, JLU's BMS program is backed by academic partnerships with Coursera and 21st Century Workplace Skills, which means students get access to industry-recognized online certifications as part of their curriculum. These certifications from platforms like Coursera can be listed on your resume and are recognized by employers globally. The program also involves business simulations, case studies, and fieldwork, which provide practical exposure beyond classroom learning.

Ques. Can I get admission to JLU BMS (Business Analytics) through CUET, or is JLUET mandatory?

However, the Personal Interview (PI) round is mandatory for all candidates regardless of the entrance exam score used. CUET UG 2026 registration closed on 26th February 2026, and the exam is scheduled from 11th to 31st May 2026. If you missed CUET registration, you can still apply through JLUET, which is conducted by JLU in July 2026.
