8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec

Dislikes

The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I always had an interest in mechanical engineering and related fields. There are different faculties available for different subjects and labs. All the faculties have great knowledge and experience in their respective fields. term exams are hard even if you refer to all the textbooks and guides. Faculties take classes completely based on the syllabus.

If we attend the classes regularly, the exams are not much difficult to pass. if we miss the class, then it would be difficult to pass. in this college the teachers are really good and cooperative. they know to teach very well and are understandable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like this course because it's a relevant course as you know about hybrid vehicles and all this gives a huge role in this course. The faculty is very good and they are ready to be with us in anytime. they are also taking the extra classes for week students. teaching methods are presentation based except for problematic papers. Exams are conducted by ktu so it's tough and very a chance to get failing exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked to become a mechanical engineer, so I opted out. My father is a mechanical engineer. In my class, we had a strength of 42 students, and the faculty who taught us were well trained and were experts. We had two internal exams and one final exam in each semester.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester onwards the students are eligible for campus placement. The students must have cleared all the backlogs if they have any. The companies visited were Federal bank and the IBM and many offers are made. The highest package offered is about 2,00,000 and the average package was about 45,000. About 85-90% of students get placed every year. I plan to go abroad and look for a job related to my course such as cyber security cyber technology, programming, etc.

From the 3rd year onwards college placement training starts. Companies like Infosys, IBM, quest global, Amazon, TCS, Wipro, IBS, Tech Mahindra, H&R Block, etc. All most all of the students get placements in our college.

A sea of opportunities from TIST

Placement Experience:

The college offers good placements which are eligible in the fifth and sixth semesters. Most of the students who pass out are able to get placements in different companies as provided by the college. My plan after getting the degree are to go abroad and get a job in a good company.

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.

It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
