Placement Experience:

A plenty of campus placements are there for the students from seventh semester onwards. Infosys, Wipro, TCS etc are the main companies visited our college. The companies provide a package of above 4 lakh per annum for those who were selected. About 40% of total students are getting placed from college. After graduation, we can apply our resume to various companies and acan attend apprentice programme provided by companies also.

From the 6th semester onwards the placement procedure starts. And a lot of opportunities are given by several companies in our college. The major companies that come to recruitment are TCS, UST Global, Wipro, Quest Global, QBurst, Tech Mahindra, People 10, etc.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start from the third year. There are several companies visiting for the recruitment process including Wipro and TCS. Most of the students opt for the campus placement but some don't as they're looking to go for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester onward students are eligible for placements. MNC's like TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO, CTC, ALSTOM, EY, Goldman Sachs, QBurst, Hexaware and 80+ companies take part in campus placement drives. Average offers include 3 LPA+ minimum. Our college has a great performance in placements with a very good rate of students getting placed like a minimum of 75% of students getting offers from various companies.

Placement Experience:

Placement training will commence in the 3rd semester. You will be having placement training at least 5 days a semester. The placements will start in the 7th semester. Several IT companies like Infosys used to recruit several students. In 2018, 100+ students were placed at Infosys. Even though there are several placement opportunities for IT students, the placements to other branches in their core field are very few.

Companies start looking for students from the 3rd year onwards. Infosys, Amazon, etc are the companies that mainly come. You should clear all the supplies before the companies look for students. The majority of the students will get placements.

Placement Experience:

S7 students with no or minimum backlogs are eligible and are given placement training. Infosys,Wipro,iBN etc are the companies coming for placements.Almost all the placements are for IT field ?25,000/month is the highest and ?20,000/month is the average salary offer. 10% of the students will get placement and 99% will be in IT companies. I'm planning to go abroad with my brother and work there.Earn some money and come back.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester onwards the students become eligible for campus placements. Above 75 percentage of students are placed in placements. The highest package is 6 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are HCL, TCS, WIPRO etc. Almost 25 percentage of students got internships.

Our course is a bit limited when it comes to on-campus placements, but if you are IT-related, then your chances are of getting placed are high. There has been some proper assistance by the college, but with limited opportunities in our specific field, most of us find getting a high-paid job rather difficult.

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. The Madras Institute of Technology at Chrompet is the University's second campus, spanning 52 acres. Taramani, Chennai, has a third campus that spans 5 acres. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.

It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
