Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students become eligible for placement and mostly companies come to the placement apart from them MRF also comes every year. Every student gets a chance to sit for placement offers and services f you get placed 2 times then you can't sit for any other.

Yes. Of course, there are placements especially for the Computer Science Department. Multinational companies such as Wipro, HCL, Infosys, etc. takes direct job placements from the college. So about ninety percent of students will surely get placement.

Remarks:

The main reason that drove me into the process of decision making in choosing this college is that I can be a day scholar and the college is at 20th position among the colleges in the state with efficient faculties, good infrastructural facilities, transportation facilities etc.

Our college provides good campus placements for the students. So many good companies selected our students. The placement cell does not show any discrimination between students. They provide equal chances to all the students.

Remarks:

The college which I chose was ranked 3rd best in Kerala.and as I couldn't clear JEE Advance and couldn't get CSE with my JEE Mains rank of 21k, I opted for this govt aided college in Kerala. Also as compared to other colleges the college tuition fees where affordable ranging only around Rs18k an year. Also I checked the alumni page and communicated the pass-out students of this college and found many of them gave a very positive response. Also this college gave opportunities for learning through various workshops and other programmes. So I opted for this college.

3rd and 4th year onwards placement will be started. Infosis, USD global etc are some companies visited. My plan after getting my degree is to look for some job.

Remarks:

I applied for allotment process in June 4. In the trial allotment itself I got the admission at muthoot institute of technology and science. On July 4 I joined college, and august 1 the classes commenced. I prefer this college because I saw a best results from my senior batch and it was no. 1 ranking at the university level. Mainly Google, and newspapers was my source of information about the college at the time. Also my family was friend was super senior at the college so she also shared many information regarding of college.

Remarks:

It's a college near to me and had a great review so I chose to study there.I was not disappointed because am getting what I wanted other than freedom.exams are conducted at regular time and the results are published on time but the valuation quality is not as expected.

The current world ranking is 1168. The national ranking is 25. Education Rank is 530 in terms of quality. The alumni employment ranking is 1488. The research Performance Rank is 1111. The overall rating is 69.3. 

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. The Madras Institute of Technology at Chrompet is the University's second campus, spanning 52 acres. Taramani, Chennai, has a third campus that spans 5 acres. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.

It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
