For other branches, the placement cell is quite good but for food technology, the placement is less. Although we have a few. Training is given for placement aptitudes.

Remarks:

Good space and ecosystem. Although the faculty keeps changing which disturbs our process of learning. This college is also situated at heart of Thrissur, it's only like 8 km from Thrissur town. The college campus is around 42 hectares.

Remarks:

Our college has a splendid library built in a area of 370 sq.m in which a total of 11,329 volumes are available. The libraries also have recorded videos of NPTEL course which is useful to improve the quality education of the students. The institution has fully air conditioned computer labs, LAN, licensed software, multimedia attachments & media etc which is meant to provide a healthy academic environment to the students.

Admission:

I gave JEE main entrance before applying to this college. After that, I applied for admission on the official website. They selected the students on the basis of merit and those who have secured at least 50% marks in 12th boards.

St. Thomas College of Engineering and Technology is affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. The students who have completed 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized Indian Board are eligible to apply for the admission provided that they will ahe to appear for the entrance exam and on merit basis, they will be selected.

The current world ranking is 1168. The national ranking is 25. Education Rank is 530 in terms of quality. The alumni employment ranking is 1488. The research Performance Rank is 1111. The overall rating is 69.3. 

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. The Madras Institute of Technology at Chrompet is the University's second campus, spanning 52 acres. Taramani, Chennai, has a third campus that spans 5 acres. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.

It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
