Admission:

Interested in technology. Good campus and my friend dad is working as a permanent resident so I got my admission very faster and to attain the courses for my graduation. First, we joined the college and they called for an interview so we are accepted for studying in college.

Remarks:

Great college to do a btech course. You can enjoy the college life through out the larg campus wich is at the top of a small hill. The climate is so good. The negative remarks are that the college don't have night life.

Remarks:

This is a very nice college. Its been a pleasure for me to spend my college life here. Here both academics and fun are balanced. We can enjoy our college life without spoiling our future. The only downside of this college is inadequate canteen facility. This is not a big bother since there are many great restourants near the college.

Overall it is nice and have some small restrictions like vehicle usage like that. Only that is the problem other all is well occupied and good. We can change our life in this campus and have good experiences.

Vidya engineering college is one of the best self financing colleges in Thrissur district and in Kerala.As a self financing college it is also a strict college.But the college supports students very well.

The students have to have a score of at least 50% in 12th examinations after which they have to give an entrance exam, i.e., KEAM which is specially conducted in Kerala for admission in this college.

The current world ranking is 1168. The national ranking is 25. Education Rank is 530 in terms of quality. The alumni employment ranking is 1488. The research Performance Rank is 1111. The overall rating is 69.3. 

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. The Madras Institute of Technology at Chrompet is the University's second campus, spanning 52 acres. Taramani, Chennai, has a third campus that spans 5 acres. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.

It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
