- 8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
- The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
- Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec
Dislikes
- The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
- There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
- No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

Placement Experience:
The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

- Unlike in other government aided colleges the teachers are much more friendly and committed to their jobs

Course Curriculum Overview:
When considering the real-world The exams feels much more easy and if u dosent understand the teaching method we can approch alternative online methods and we are aloowed to do that. That makes exam approach much more easy

- The campus is huge that i ever visited in my academic life.
- Faculties all are supporting and repeat if we didnt understand.
- labs are most intresting my college.its should be experience what they are offering

- they will reduce internal marks if we judge them in classes for internal exams.
- they college very well stricted and restricted to students in some of the activities.
- the canteen staffs are too irresponsible in serving to students.
Placement Experience:
My plan after getting B.tech to place in a good company which have foreign head office.From sixth semester they start for placement training program.they are offering royal enfield, eicher, yamaha, bosch training certificate from there own laboratory equipments.Companies like mahindr ,eicher ,luxon tata... are recruting from college level placement.most of the students got placed from college.The Highest package salary were 5LPA.

- Small area for sports and games compared to other colleges
- Nearby hygiene is poor mosquito are found mostly
Placement Experience:
Placements are relatively low but it is growing yearly 3..4 companies visit every year for chemical Engineering with average package 3 to 8 lakhs per annum and 40 Percent students get placed remaining opt for higher studies or go abroad

College offers lots of placements for B.Tech and MTech . Lots of comapnys are visited and lots of students are placed . Top most companies like L and T, ULCC, TCS, Microsoft etc are visited and they conducted Test and GD and select students accordingly

- very nice cold climate. the college life feels like a vacation. the people here are really nice. teachers are good. hostel food is good
- supports students to conduct events or join events instead of always spending time in class to get real world experience
- good guidance from principals , placement officer and department teachers
Dislikes
- hostel building: the buildings are old and it was'nt maintained well except first years until recently. rooms had graffiti which was done by senior students. thankfully they're doing a good job now
- less girls and more boys , in my class (S7 CSE in the time of writing) there are 12girls and 52 boys. thankfully the male to female ratio is good for juniors.
- there is a building in campus which has been under construction for almost a decade now but they had to stop it mid way. it would've been good if they completed it as the college is planning on adding more departments from this year
Placement Experience:
The campus placements are decent. getting placed in a big company is more about having the technical and soft skills to pass the interviews. the placement training helps us develop soft skills but the technical skills must be developed ourselves.

- Apart from studies the programmes conduct was very less
- There is no coordination in programs and other activities
- Apart from studies this college has nothing

The placement performance at the college can be described as average. While the institution does offer placement opportunities, only a portion of the students manage to secure job offers during their final year. Notably, students become eligible for campus placements starting from the seventh semester

- The ambiance of the location where the college is situated is very good.

- Some classes are congested but not every class.
- The studies of job oriented course are less.

The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa.
The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%.

- The ambience of the college is pretty good
- Very much professional teachers and faculties
- For CSE the male to female ratio is almost the same but for Mechanics and mechatronics female students are very less and in ece there are lots of girls
Dislikes
- Lack of cultural programmes only one big festival called bloom but nothing more
- Some faculties are very strict and it is for our own good but it's gets pretty tiring soon
- Class time is too much compared to recess time there is two recess and a lunch break with lunch break being 1 hour and recess being 10 min with 10 min being very less
Course Curriculum Overview:
As this is an autonomous college the courses taken here is very much up to date and standard and the exams are difficult and not hard too much hard to make us stress over it. The curriculum prepares as for real world as the classes are very much practical. Exams are done at their correct time with plenty of time to study

- The atmosphere in the college is very well, clean and hygienic place
- The teachers and staffs are not that much strict(We can bunk classes as much as we want but be careful of attendance cuttoff)
- Location wise pretty good area, the college is literally at the backside of an airport and a sea
Dislikes
- Lack of infrastructure, but you will get used to it by 2nd year
- Lack of big events, dont expect big time events but there will be enough
- Lack of big college vibe , you wont be able to spend time by walking in campus bcoz there isn’t much to walk

There is a placement cell in out college and the faculty in charge of it is great and tries hai best to deliver som companies to our collee( eg: UST, TCS, Mitsogo etc) and diring my 4th year around 30 students got campus placements from there

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. The Madras Institute of Technology at Chrompet is the University's second campus, spanning 52 acres. Taramani, Chennai, has a third campus that spans 5 acres. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.
ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
