- 8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
- The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
- Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec
Dislikes
- The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
- There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
- No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

- The education system when I joined was not good as it is not much helpful for my career.

Placement Experience:
From semester 5 , Placement cell started and eligibility came.
Many companies came but those were not Computer Science core companies.
UST global came in which only 1 student got only placed.
Rest somewhat 10 students got placed in Sutherland.
I decided after my degree ,I want to enter to job.if possible I would like to try mba also.

- Although college is not as big as other colleges it has covered almost every aspect of other collegs be it in terms of labs other other sports areas.Also the college has got elevators for teachers and differently abled students.
Placement Experience:
If i talk about the placements in our college it is neither too good nor too bad.
If a person is in need of money,he can go on with placement jobs
But if a person is in chase of good salary then placements would not help

- The enviornment where the college situates a peaceful atmosphere it is surrounded by trees and the classes are situated at a place which is away from the road side which offers a peacefull atmosphere for studying
- Since the college consists only one block for all the departments the interaction between students can be imprived beacause of the closed atmosphere which helps in a social interaction between students
- This college is regareded as the top 2 college in our district which offers a best placement and internship programs and well conducted in our college
Dislikes
- Since the college contains only a small space the college offers a bad experience for sports activities and a big stage for conducting cultural programmes
- The infrastructure of the college is bit worse since it is runned by government the lab facilities lack some infrastructure
- The faculty team should be replaced with youth which would be easy to understand the students and their mindset old faculty will only think in their viewpoint .So implementing a young faculty could improve the engagement of students in the class hour
Course Curriculum Overview:
The main problem of the curriculum is the time duration of the semester the actual duration of the semster is 6 months but this year it is only 2 and half months this leads to huge trouble for the student and also there is many biology student who have opted the computer stream this makes them uncomfortabe to study the computer programming during this short time period. the curriclum does not prepares the student for the real- world application it only trains you to write the exams which is the main problem .

- The lift facility is currently under service
Placement Experience:
At third year onwards you can be eligible for campus placements and many top compaines are recruiting from the college that are L&T and other compaines . The percentage of students who are getting placed are not bad ,average package will be 400000

- Its not like an Engineering college. There is no facilities for an engineering college. Its like just a School.
- There is no library time.No projectors. No social Interactions. Etc
Course Curriculum Overview:
I want to be an Aerospace Engineer. As a Starting I opt Datascience as my UG. Course Syllabus is changed this year. There are somany changes students want to improve. In one year there are 2 semester. Atleast one semester must be in 5 months. But in 3 months they complete 1 semester of 4 modules & exams are oming really difficultly.

- Good behaviour from faculties and college staffs...staffs are always ready to support at any time you want.most of the faculties are very friendly and understanding our situations and help us to improve ourselves very much...labs are also very good
Dislikes
- There is no campus inside the college...the college is built in a single building and no campus around tha college.the another thing I dislike is that the programs are not that great comparing to other colleges..and the clg canteee is pure vegonly
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum are nice and not that difficult...it is not that hard by the way.the faculties are cool and friendly with us they encourage us to study and for all activities like arts and sports

- Faculties are well educated and skilled, so the education the provide is really nice
- Faculty does constant evaluation students may know their level and chances of passing exams
- All the programs at college are done very nicely, there will be Pro shows and all other programs
Dislikes
- Faculties are not that friendly with the students
- College doesn't support more programs just studies are their priority
- Number of students are Less so can't enjoy college life properly

I especially I am not interested to the curriculum it it does not prepare us for the real world they don't even help us find what all skills we have all about our curriculum is that we should buy hard things and we should write it in the exam

I think mechanical engineering is like mother of all branches and its scope is wide and greater... There are so many things to study in an mechanical engineering degree..as a boy this is really good and good

- Kind of has a large land area in which which the college is located
- There is nothing much to like in the college

- There was no type of entertainment or extra curricular activities
- No type of shows like tech fest, cultural fest were conducted
- There is huge fuss when a girl and boy talks
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose the course because of the technical aspects and wanted to be an BIm engineer and do quite a good work in the construction field, the timing of the exams where way off, Each semester is 6month program, and the semester exams where conducted after 3.5 months of the semester, this is not actually the fault of the college but the fault of the University KTU

The college provides placement opportunities and training . students can apply at their seventh semester even with active backlogs too .seventy five companies are associated with placement cell.most companies visited are TCS , cognizant Wipro Accenture sap MRF Shobha developers etc .the Highest and lowest package is around 25lpa and 3.5lpa .the average package is around 4.5lpa . almost fifty students got placed .

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. The Madras Institute of Technology at Chrompet is the University's second campus, spanning 52 acres. Taramani, Chennai, has a third campus that spans 5 acres. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.
ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
