- 8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
- The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
- Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec
Dislikes
- The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
- There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
- No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

- Easy transportation. Bus station is quite near. Walkable

- Small campus. The campus is so small that 5 minute walk is more than enough to cover the entire campus including classrooms
- The number of students is much low that it feels like nobody is there most of the times
- Less to No college life vibes. Since the number of students is less and the campus area is so small

Course Curriculum Overview:
The subjects are ok. But the curriculum is so bad. The course structure is ok to good. There are so many things to improve in curriculum. The 6 month semester is even used to conclude in 4 months. That would affect students intrested and future in the field.

- College campus is very big and it provide the students a calm and environment friendly atmosphere.The infrastructure of our college Is amazing.
- There are somany technical clubs are working in CET .And the students got much exposure through this club activities and all.
- Our college has two biggest fests in south india.DWANI the biggest cultural fest in south india,and for a technical college there should be a technical fest we have one called DRISHTI . Students got opportunity to manage a huge fest .
Dislikes
- We are technical college students,but in CET the cultural fest have more importance than our technical fest.
- There is a huge amount is deposited as PTA fund for years they never use this fund for a proper maintenance and to fulfill the needs of students.
- College management is good actually because of they conduct meetings including students before taking a decision regarding any issue or new idea implementation.

Placement Experience:
From sixth semester onwards the students are eligible for attending placements.The students who were in fifth semester has opportunity to getting internships . CATERPILLAR,SHOBHA CONSTRUCTIONS, ASHOK LEYLAND and some more companies are already came for placements in mechanical. Approximately a 40%and above students got placements in last year .So we waiting for 50% students got placed in this year.

The placement of our college is very good.So many companies are coming for the recruitment. For me i am trying to get selected in thr campus placement itself. Beacuse in our campus placement huge multination companies are coming.

- 50:50 girls to boys ratio,Very approachable faculties, friendly teaching methods,excellent mentorship, great assistance in project related works .
- Great infrastructure, good environment, availabilty of canteen , all kind of celebration whether onam, Christmas, sports, arts, concert etc.....
- Great exposure to the field of study, seminars, conference, workshops,enchance both personal nad professional development
Dislikes
- Timing of college bus, irregularity of bus
- Distance of lab from class, had to travel abit
- Very fashionable college, pretty girls and boys
Placement Experience:
Students eligible for placements from third year. Companies visited include bosch, zifo, tata lexi, vipro and many more..morethan 100 students get placed each year.highest package of 1,00,000/- and average package of 40,000/-. After getting the degree I plan on continuing my studies by doing a research after taking Mtech in it.

From third year onwardsyou will get placements.Various companies like Ust global,TCS,Qburst etc made their offers for the college.Highest pay scale was 7lakh and lowest was 2lakh.My plan is to get a Mtech

- The campus is eco friendly and teachers are willing to help and take good care of the student's.
- The infrastructure has been improved and is improving over the academic years and they really look forward to the welfare of the student's studying there
- The placements and internship opportunities are really well provided and the help for attending the interview is been held through conducting orientation classes yearly
Placement Experience:
Our campus has a major number of placements and they are placed for high job paying salaries even for freshers and they provide a great intersnhip and training facilities for the people who have joined our campus

- Specific faculties in each department shows partiality to students
- Behaviour of principal is lean, he doesn't support for any cultural activities
- Canteen owner is misbehaving with the students especially with Girl students

Highest and average packages are 12L per annum
Above 8 cgpa students are getting placed

- Manegement is not good they are strict and also very cruel
- College will not provide study leave for exams and all
- The teachers are sometimes not systematic
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is mechanical Engineering in this some subject like mechanics graphics maths are hard but with proper practice we can go through the topics good as well we are following the cariculam in a systematic manner

- The college also has a technical event dhristi in which students exhibits there technical projects
- The college completely raging free and the faculties are also very supportive

- The lab facilities at certain departments still uses old machines.
- The old habit of writing lengthy records are present

The placements offered by the college is good. The average package is around 5LPA and so many core and non core companies will come for recruitment. The company's that came this year are Caterpillar, Ashoke Leyland, Shobha constructions, Cynlr etc. On an average of 50% of students get placed

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
