Course structure is not that perfect in my opinion as it is not that industry oriented. Faculties are good especially for ECE students. They will support you to their full strength if you behave like a student.
All the facilities are good and they do their respective jobs independently. The only merit of this colleage is it's academic.this type of study is even not provided in IITs.both cse and ese faculties are good and try to make student capable to grab their dreams according to their capabilities.overall academic is excellent
The course is totally based on the demands of the industry in IT sector. Academic section of the college works phenomenal, they try to provide students with amount of knowledge which is more than enough for them to grab a industrial job.
I really appreciate my professors, All if them are really fantastic. Coz they wanna put on us everything they know and behind that, they try to learn many extra things for us. I can't really put any name of any one of them coz they are all great. I can't even judge their knowledge.
The Course curriculum is strictly in adherence to the one prescribed by the Education Ministry and the Faculty are well equipped to handle any type of problems faced by students. A ragging free environment and vigilant security also helps students feel safe as home.
Course syllabus was based on IIIT Guwahati syllabus. College was not that good regarding industrial exposure. Many students arranged their internship by own efforts. Faculties are normal only. They don't try anything special for students. They do whatever they see in IIIT and IIT Guwahati.
If we compare fee structure with other college we feel that it's high because of food in th hostel mess. Basically we feel it's expensive. If the food quality becomes good then that fee to pay is affordable. And travelling charges are very expensive.
Basically we have daily classes from 8 am to 5 pm. And we get holiday on weekends. During weekends our lecturers assign some projects to do. We have best labs for practical knowledge. We utilize labs in our free time. There will quizes in between each semester and one mid sem and end sem.
Fee is high as compared to many other colleges of India. It is around 2.5 lakhs per year. One can take help of scholarship and loans otherwise it is not feasible. It is very difficult for a lower middle class family to pay around 1.5 laks in just 6 months. Do choose wisely because income certificate is not applicable in IIIT's.
We have 4 years consisting of eight semesters. Each semester two exams mid semester and end semester are held. Each semester lasts 4 month.Labs are equipped. Most of the time It is chilled but sometimes it's hectic too. I don't think there is more work is going on research field here. But yes if you are eager to do you are welcomed.
I paid different every year, as during y 1sst year I paid Rs 1lakhs/- and in total, I invested Rs 6 lakhs/-. That according to me is the lowest and the best price a person gets to know and understand the course.
All my 4 years the course was divided into the semester and each semester we learned different things about engineering-related subjects. I learned about Analogy, computer science, machines, coding and also Introduction to Programming.
