The University of South Bihar, referred to as CUSB, was established in 2009 in Gaya, Patna. It has been accredited with an A grade by NAAC and appeared in the overall rankings of NIRF 2020. The institute offers 3 integrated programs, and 5 postgraduate courses in multiple specializations.
CUSB accepts applications through online mode.
- Candidates applying for B.A + B.Ed, or B.Sc + B.Ed must be qualified with at least 50% in 10 + 2. Admissions are based on the CUCET scores.
- Admissions to the B.A + LLB course is also on the basis of CUCET scores. Candidates must have passed 10 + 2 with at least 45% to be eligible.
- For the M.Tech course, candidates must have achieved 60% in B.E or B.Tech in a relevant specialization, or MCA. Admissions are based on GATE scores.
- For all other PG courses, eligibility criteria range from 50 to 55% in the relevant specialization. Admissions are based solely on CUCET scores.
A 5% relaxation of marks is also granted to all candidates from SC/ ST / OBC community to be eligible. While applying for CUCET, there is no Cut Off for these candidates, unless their overall score is 0 or negative.
