- All other food outlets which are there are very good and are cheap
- College location is very good very close to the beach

- Faculty are not up to the mark as they teach nothing
- There is no proper ventilation in the the classroom
- Sports facilities are not upto the mark but atleast they are there

- Studious Environment and the mess food is really great if you are a hosteller.
- Security is really good, there is really tight checking
- Wardens are really responsive and faculty is really good
Dislikes
- The restrictions are really irritating if you are a hosteller
- Rules and regulations that doesn’t make sense sometimes
- Not allowed to go out in the first semester
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course I chose is computer science engineering in Aritificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I chose this course because I have a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence and its growth. The faculty here is really nice and qualified. All the professors have done there graduations and mba from reputed colleges. The exams in Vit are hard you have to be studious and disciplined to pass the exams.

- One thing I disliked about this college is that you have very strict rules in terms of the clothes you wear(especially for girls), that you have to wear ID card all the time, you are not allowed to have female interaction,etc
Placement Experience:
Well , I am a freshser so I dont have that much idea of the placemnt criteria but all I know is that the placemnts are only based on the skills you have and not only on your CGPA. The highest placemnt this year was given to a person from Mechanical branch. The average package went upto 12 LPA this year and 98% of the students got placed.

Good package, average is about 8.19, bit totally bullshit criteria for placement eligibility, they randomly fail people if they feel like it , grey will gain money from it , lesss opportunity for people from non crucial brany

- The kind of rules VIT have is just unmanageble and PDA guards
- The climate of chennai is fugged up it rains almost every day which makes sky so dull and creates a dark kind scence everyday you barely see sunlight.
- Discrimnation between north indians and south indians and the way south indians lives in hostel and do in class is just shit.

My plans after getting degree is not clear now i have many options like i think i can do MBa MTech or i would do my business but i think mostly i would like to become a pilot but don,t know i would see till second year and when i am clear about it i will do something.

There is a credit system after certain credit sytem you get you degree. the highest package obtained is 1.5 cr companies such as tcs microsoft etc are present. In terms of academics, Amrita University matches the IIT syllabus and course structure. The infrastructure and laboratories are in good condition. The college works closely with businesses and other educational institutions. Many academic activities are being carried out to ensure effective information exchange.
College life is the most interesting part. Amrita University's Coimbatore campus is one of the cleanest in India and spans 500 acres. Amrita is a very diverse campus and a great place to make new friends. There is no such constraint. Cell phones are not permitted in the classroom. However, after leaving the classroom, you can talk to your loved ones. A minimum attendance requirement of 80% must be met, or you must present sufficient justification for your absence.
Amrita provides free wifi that is typically 0.5Mbps fast. Aside from YouTube, Facebook, and a few other sites, most academic content is available. Everything else is restricted. Only nutritious vegetarian food is served. The menu is adequate for a South Indian restaurant. If you are a traveler, you will have enough vacation time in Amrita to visit all of India in two years. The resident warden must grant permission for the outing. Every time a girl needs an outing pass, she must submit a fax from her parents. You can earn millions if you plan on participating in and winning every cultural event that is held there. It is an excellent world-class platform for showcasing and honing your skills.
