Highly education ,communication skill,very good teachers and staff members , post graduates teacher , polite good in study , neat and clean classroom and lecture halls seminar hall ,good computer systems
In bca my fee is around 5 lakh, there scholarships available for those students who score good marke in there 12th, by the good mark they can score good in university also.
I am a 1st year student. till know i have not experienced. but seeing from 1st year student till know the college is pretty good . i have liked the festival

Dislikes

There were no cut off process and no entrance exam, any stream of students can apply for bca which is my course, think i don't like about the admission process is we have to submit fee before samester start
Tution fee is bit consistent throughout the semester complete cost waa around 3 lakh no such scholarships were provided by the college there were no such employability roles were given from college
Some faculties are really arrogant and they don't have a helpful hand.

A university of everything for everyone

Likes

Group of faculty. Faculties are too much cooperative and available for student every time.
Beautiful campus between hills and close to nature
Management at every level is quite impressive. Every event is well organized and any indisciplinary act is not bearable.

Dislikes

Less exposure in sports for the student who want to pursue sporting career
There is very less free time for other things other than study.
Travel Infrastructure needs to be more convenient for the students

Placement Experience:

From the second last semester students become eligible for the placements. Known companies like Infosys, wipro, Amazon etc visited and numbers of offer mainly depends on the potential of the students.

A college's hope and result

Likes

Dress code of the college and the small but good infrastructure
The cctv system and the water system here
There we have a few good staff which is actually talented

Dislikes

90% of the teaching staff just flex they dont know the basics of the course
Some teachers has arrogant menatlity they just say see u in exam
The placment department is pure if any comapny select u then you cant sit for next

Placement Experience:

The placament is below avg say, there was no major or good comapnies at that time only accenture cognizent global logic type comapnies are there and the student which got the highest package are those who has good connection. Over Linkedin and applied offline and the college says these comapnies came in campus recruitment. The highest which is actually the highest is 1500000 and the lowest is 0 as some students are not even palced.

Likes

The best thing i like about the college is its campus and the environment inside the campus.
Second thing i liked about college is its bus service, they have more than 100 buses which run all over dehradun.
Third thing i like about it is its fest known as grafest and its literally crazy . It is the best fest in the town.

Dislikes

The thing that I dont like about this college is its management the don't have good management. In my first year there were know proper classes to sit they change the classes daily we have to move from one place to another to take classes.
Teachers here also are not good, they were just doing formalities they come to class and just talk. Whenever we ask for help, there answer was always no.
The classrooms were also not good some ceiling fan works amd some not. In summers sitting in class is literally difficult.

Placement Experience:

For MCA you are eligible from 4th sem for the placements. Accenture, capgemini, infosys etc MNCs visits campus accenture hired around 180 candidates and infosys hired 9-10 candidates. Highest placement is 80lpa and average placement is 3-4lpa. Around 20% students are placed till now. Plans after getting degree is to work on good mnc.

Mediocre College, don't set expectations too high

Behavior of staff during admissions, can't say same for post admissions.

Dislikes

Casual behaviour of faculty towards students and curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was severely outdated, with least emphasis on the practical learning which is ironical for a course like Journalism and Mass communication. The emphasis was just on the theory lecture and even there not in a single semester the syllabus was completed on time.

Annual campus fest is of 3 days and all the days are worth attending
city in which campus is located is an amazing place to spend and explore during your college phase
Cultural diversity is amzing and u get to meet different region peeps

Dislikes

Campus size is small compared to other branches

Placement Experience:

Placement are a hard phase during college life but the average placement that our course got this year is arround 50 lacs and companies that visited us are also good and took a lot of students. Companies that visited are volvo, adobe, google, Amazon, accenture

Well talking about the campus, its pretty big open and provides fine architecture for all departments.
College stands among top universities in uttarakhand, and its placements have gone as high as 86 LPA while the average is 5 LPA
The staff and faculty are good in communication and highly experienced that provide students with carreer and moral guidance.

Dislikes

There is too much crowd, number of students is increasing drastically each year
Sports is not much neglected and sports faculty is very few in numbers.
There is much rowdiness and hoogliness in some students who often disrupt the college atmosphere.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are high and five. Highest was 83LPA and average is 5 LPA . About 50 and more companies come to the college every year . the are some that recruit in masses while go for the most expectional students.

Me and my wonderful college life

The educational environment of college is very good and I also like the whole campus.

Dislikes

The main thing which I dislike is that according to me fees is a little high and if they decrease the amount then it will be good

Course Curriculum Overview:

About the course which I am persuing, I think every thing is good and does not require any change but the classes nedds to be adjusted and the areas like computer labs and the style of teaching and teachers interaction with students which I think must be improved so that the course can become much easier to be pursued and learn from it. And when it comes to exams there are two type of exams in one semester which I think is pretty good and you learn so much things from that also and it makes that course and subjects in it easy to be understood.

The college gives you access to many co curriculur activities
Grafest is one of the best fests being organised by any university
The college campus has bus facilities for all over Dehradun as well as Vikasnagar

Dislikes

The faculty is very rude and arrogant and doesn’t like to hear anything about their mistakes
The hostel messs food is one of the worst
The college forces you to pay the the feee before the previous session ends

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are Available from third year onwards and you can apply for it yourself mostly students opt for off campus placement and that is good too cause of low placement rates of Gehu. The percentage of student getting placed is 40%or 30% . My plans after getting the degree are of cracking GATE exam and going for higher studies.

Student become eligible for placement after or during second year of the course. Many companies visit the college like amazon,google etc.However the percentage of student getting placement is quite good

Insight into the Graphic Era Hill University

Placement Experience:

Placement are provided, where the highest package was around 84 Lakh per annum and multiple other higher packages were around 56 LPA, 26LPA, 24LPA, 16 LPA and more. I don't know about the average package that it provides but the above have been placed there
