SKUAST Jammu Faculty

The faculty at this college is highly qualified, with all professors holding PhDs or post-doctorates and possessing significant experience in their respective fields. The faculty-student ratio is favorable, and instructors are approachable, supportive, and knowledgeable. Lectures are interactive and involve practical knowledge, often supported by seminars, guest lectures, and presentations. Each semester includes 11 to 12 courses with 20 to 30 lectures per course. The examination system comprises midterm and end-term exams, which are moderate in difficulty, and practical exams are also conducted.

While most students pass, about 20% may fail the exams. The faculty is cooperative and committed to timely administrative tasks and result declarations. The diverse faculty, originating from various parts of India, enriches the learning experience, although there are occasional concerns about some faculty members' engagement levels. The campus, equipped with libraries and laboratories, provides a conducive environment for learning and research.
