Candidates must have passed 10+2 with PCB, PCMB, or Agriculture with Science subjects. General category candidates need a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Reserved category candidates need a minimum of 40% aggregate. Those appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.

Does SKUAST Jammu reserve seats under ICAR All-India Quota?

Yes. 15% of UG and PG seats are filled through the ICAR All-India Quota. These seats are open to candidates from across India without a J&K domicile requirement. ICAR-admitted students also receive monthly scholarships of INR 3,000 (UG) and INR 5,000 to INR 7,000 (PG).

Selection is based on the SKUAST Jammu CET PG score combined with qualifying degree marks. The PG CET consists of 150 MCQ questions in 2.5 hours with -0.25 negative marking.

Can NRI students apply to all programmes at SKUAST Jammu?

No. NRI and OCI candidates may apply only for the B.V.Sc. & A.H. programme at SKUAST Jammu. They are not required to have a J&K domicile certificate. NRI applicants pay an application fee of INR 8,000. All other programmes are restricted to J&K or Ladakh domicile holders and ICAR quota candidates.
