Brooklyn Law School International Admission

Brooklyn Law School (BLS) houses a significant number of International students. International applicants applying for BLS are required to submit all the necessary documents at the time of making the online application.

BLS accepts admission through LSAT so the first phase of application begins with making an application for the exam.

Admission requirements

  • Official copies of transcripts in English or translated in English
  • Academic mark sheets in English or Translated in English
  • Statement of Finance (Both for Scholarship and non-scholarship applicants)
  • Certificates and Mark sheet of post-secondary grades

English Proficiency Requirement

For the purpose of admission in BLS no separate International level English proficiency test has to be taken by the applicant. The qualifying score in LSAT/GRE is enough for certifying knowledge in English. However, for LLM program applicants have to show the TOEFL and IELTS scores to prove English proficiency.

Visa requirements for International students

After the student is selected for admission, the university will email the Certificate of Eligibility for a Student Visa (Form I-20 A/B). Once received, all the details should be checked carefully.

  • Receipt of visa application fee.
  • Evidence of SEVIS fee payment (I-901 receipt)

Brooklyn Law School JD Programme Admission

Brooklyn Law School offers all kinds of programs in the domain of Law. The school offers programs at JD programmes, UG, PG, fellowship and certificate level. Apart from this the BLS also offers some part-time and short-term programs.

At PG level the institute offers L.L.M. BLS also offers paid fellowship to deserving candidates

Short-term and certificate courses are offered throughout the year and there is no as such fixed duration of application for them. Updates regarding such courses are renewed from time to time on the official website of BLS.

Admission Requirements for LLM applicants are given below-

Applications are reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis beginning in the fall. The Admissions Office continues to review applications as they become complete and until the class is full, or until the start of classes: May for the 2-Year J.D. Degree Program, or August for the 3- and 4-Year J.D. Degree Programs. Candidates should be aware that the rolling nature of our admissions process means that it is in their best interest to complete and submit all required application materials as soon as possible.

This is a highly competitive and binding early admissions decision program. Early Decision applicants must complete and submit their applications by December 1 and must take the LSAT exam no later than the November administration
