The Union College, Schenectady was established on February 25, 1795 and is one of the oldest non-denominational colleges in the United States of America. Programs, campus and accommodation

Campus

  • The Union College campus is spread across 120 acres of land in the city of Schenectady, New York.
  • The campus offers the Office of Fraternity and Sorority which looks after providing the finest co-curricular activities
  • In Schaffer Library, the Language center hosted by the College is located. The Center is responsible for any query regarding modern language or literature.
  • It runs more than 130 registered student-aided organizations on the campus.
  • The Breazzano Fitness Center located in the Alumni Gymnasium provides the students with free swimming pools, racquetball courts, aerobics classes along with state of the art fitness equipment.
  • In case of crime, fire or health-related issues, the Campus Safety Department takes charge of the incident with immediate effect.

Housing facilities/ Residence

  • According to the official statistics from the Office of Residential Life, 90% students live on the campus for all four years of their study
  • The College offers accommodation in residence halls, Theme houses and apartments.

Courses

The institute offers an array of courses for international students which comprises more than 50 programs including Majors, Minors, Integrated joint courses and interdisciplinary courses. Highly acclaimed courses available at the institute include:
