Programs

Oklahoma State University offers 87 undergraduate majors and over 200 options within these majors and 110 minors; 84 master's programs and 48 doctoral programs.

Campus

Oklahoma State University’s main campus is located in the city of Stillwater and is recognized as one of the most beautiful campuses. 

The main campus is spread over 1,489 acres and houses over 200 permanent buildings. The campus is highly artistic with its many modified Georgian-style buildings providing world-class facilities in a small city.

OSU boasts exemplary academic and research facilities including:

  • a 72,000 square-feet lab in the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology, 
  • and its most renowned library- Edmon Low.

At the Colvin Recreation Centre in OSU, students and staff equally enjoy the refreshing opportunities facilitated by an outdoor pool, climbing wall, expanded workout and locker space, and an indoor jogging track.

The OSU has the largest comprehensive university student union and is also renowned for being America’s healthiest campus.

Residence

Oklahoma offers on-campus accommodation for students. The campus has around 31 residential halls offering accommodation in distinct living styles- traditional halls, suites, deluxe suites, apartments, and family and graduate student housing. 

All of the residence halls are furnished and offer basic amenities with recreational spaces as well. Students can choose a meal plan from over 30 dining options provided by University Dining Services. Living Learning Programs (LLPs) and special interest housing options are also available on the campus.

International Students can also look for off-campus student housing to stay in the USA.

Admission Process

As a top-tier research university Oklahoma State University developing the intellect and creativity of its students. International students are required to fulfill the following requirements to be considered for admission at OSU:

How to Apply:

Prospective students may apply online via the Undergraduate Admissions website or via the website of Graduate College.

Application Fee:

  • Undergraduate Admissions: 90 USD
  • Graduate Admissions: 75 USD

Admission Requirements:

  • An official or certified true copy of academic records in the native language along with a certified English translation.
  • Test Scores of ACT/ SAT or GMAT/ GRE
  • OSU Financial Guarantee form and Bank Certification.
  • Copy of passport biographical page.
  • Graduate programs may require 2-4 recommendation letters.
  • Completed form of Medical History & Immunization Record.
  • English language proficiency: Either TOEFL or IELTS scores are required.*

Scholarships and Financial Aid

International undergraduate students can avail of the university assured or competitive scholarships, provided they meet the eligibility criteria. There are no scholarship applications and students are automatically considered for scholarships as they submit their application for admission. However, a student essay is required.

International Students can also look for external scholarships or opt for educational loans to fund their education.

  • Academic College Scholarships: These are university competitive scholarships and the value and terms vary by academic college and department. Selection may be based on several factors including test scores and GPA, leadership and community service, written essays, interviews and/or auditions.

The university does not offer scholarships for graduate students. However, they can participate in graduate assistantship programs. Eligible students can avail of tuition waivers according to their type of employment and scores. 

Work While You Study

The Career Services department at OSU helps all students to find work-study options on-campus or off-campus. 

On-Campus positions usually offer 12 to 20 hours of work per week. Positions vary from clerical, technical, food service or general labor positions. 

Graduate students may work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) or Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) at the university and receive stipends for their work.

    STUDENT SATISFACTION RATINGS

    OSU IS A GOOD OPTION FOR FURTHERING EDUCATION

    I chose Oklahoma State because it is the only Recreational Therapy program in Oklahoma, and also it is close-ish to home. I also like being able to live off campus and having the ability to take my CAT and have him live with me.


    Course Curriculum - 

    It is very good, I feel like I have learned a lot of good information about my future career. The professors are very good about getting you the needed information to related what you are learning into the future career you want to go into.
