The application process of Wake Forest University (WFU) is quite different. The university no longer requires applicants to submit scores in standardized tests such as the SAT or the ACT. The application process is more interview based.
The acceptance rate of the university is low. In the 2017-18 session, WFU received 13073 applications for undergraduate programs out of which only 3604 were offered admission. That indicates an acceptance rate of 27.5%.

Wake Forest University has a total of 754 international applicants.
The international applicants apply using the same application as all other students.
Academic requirements - Certified Transcripts (Translated in English)
WFU does not require applicants to submit an SAT/ACT score in the admissions application. If submitting scores, score reports must be sent directly from the testing organizations.
Language requirements - TOEFL, IELTS
The minimum total score on the TOEFL is 550 (paper-based test), 213 (computer-based test), or 79-80 (internet-based). The minimum score on the IELTS is 6.5.

Supporting requirements - Proof of financial support
The international applicants have to fill the Confidential Financial Information Form. The applicants will need to attach tax forms, statements from employers, bank statements, or any other documentation will be sent to verify the family’s assets of the applicants. The application will not be evaluated until the university receives this official document.
Visa Requirements - Admitted international applicants who pay the admission deposit will be issued an I-20 form. Upon receipt of the I-20, the student may apply for an F-1 visa for study.
Financial support - The university does not offer any need-based financial aid to foreign national students.
International students are eligible for most merit-based scholarships. The regular application also works as a scholarship application, so there is no separate form to complete. There are four major scholarships at WFU and are highly selective.
If applicants first choice is WFU than applying early can prove beneficial.

ACT/SAT - Only required when an applicant wants those scores to be considered in the admissions application.
Interview is not mandatory but it is always recommended to get admission. So, while scheduling the online interview the applicants should keep the following points in mind-
WFU offers 30 master’s and PhD disciplinary or interdisciplinary programs, and sponsor 12 programs jointly with the schools of Medicine (MD/PhD, MD/MS, MD/MA & MMS/PhD), Business (MBA/PhD), Divinity (MA/MDiv), and College (BS/BA & MA).
The application will not enter the review process unless all material has been received and verified by the appropriate Graduate School office.
Applicants will receive an email confirmation after submission of the application.
