Sathyabama's reported 2026 full-course fee is ₹12.20 lakh for BE CSE, ₹14.20 lakh for BE AI and Machine Learning and ₹4.05 lakh for the campus MBA. These are course amounts before separately payable residential or other charges. The university's online MBA is ₹45,000 a year in its June 2026 fee information.

Campus and online fees differ, and a course total should not be treated as the first admission instalment. The university's offer gives the amount due for the allotted seat. A confirmed campus fee schedule for a new 2027 intake is awaited, so the 2026 figures remain an earlier-year reference.

Sathyabama Engineering Fees

BE Fees by Branch

Engineering fees vary substantially by branch. The reported full-course CSE amount is ₹6.20 lakh above Civil Engineering, while AI and Machine Learning is ₹2 lakh above regular CSE. These comparisons use the same full-course basis in the 2026 information.

BE Fees by Branch
BE programme Reported full-course fee, 2026
Computer Science and Engineering ₹12,20,000
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning ₹14,20,000
Electronics and Communication Engineering ₹7,00,000
Aeronautical Engineering ₹6,80,000
Civil Engineering ₹6,00,000

The university offers several computing specialisations, but a fee quoted for one specialisation should be matched to the same degree title in the admission offer. The ₹12.20 lakh CSE amount does not establish one common payment for every AI, data or cyber-security programme.

Course Fee and Admission Instalment

The full-course amount describes the reported academic fee over the degree. The amount collected at joining depends on the instalment stated for the admitted branch. Students should keep the offer, the first payment receipt and later fee demands together so that the amount paid can be checked against the course account.

An annual or semester split cannot be assumed solely from a course total. For example, the ₹12.20 lakh CSE figure does not by itself establish that the university collects four equal annual payments. The actual instalment and any one-time charge must come from the student's university payment demand.

MBA, Commerce and Professional Course Fees

Campus MBA and Commerce

The regular campus MBA has a reported full-course fee of ₹4.05 lakh. BCom is ₹3.05 lakh. These amounts relate to different degree levels and durations, so students should compare them with equivalent programmes when considering another university.

The campus MBA amount excludes an assumed hostel package. A student studying on campus needs the academic payment and accommodation decision for the same admission year. The online MBA uses the separately stated annual rate described later.

Campus MBA and Commerce
Campus programme Reported full-course fee, 2026
MBA ₹4,05,000
BCom ₹3,05,000
BPharm ₹5,76,000
BArch ₹10,95,000

Pharmacy and Architecture

BPharm is reported at ₹5.76 lakh for the course. BArch is ₹10.95 lakh. Architecture has a five-year duration, while BPharm has four years in the university's course list. Their full-course amounts should therefore not be described as annual payments.

The programme-specific offer remains important for professional courses because the joining payment can include separately identified items. A fee quoted for BPharm should not be applied to PharmD or MPharm, which are separately listed pharmacy qualifications. Likewise, postgraduate architecture has its own course and fee arrangement.

Online Degree Fees at Sathyabama

Annual Fees and Course Duration

The online centre gives annual rates for its June 2026 intake. BBA and BCom have three years of study; MBA, MSc Mathematics and MA English have two. Payments are made through the Sathyabama fee portal.

Annual Fees and Course Duration
Online programme Annual fee Duration
BBA ₹20,000 Three years
BCom ₹30,000 Three years
MBA ₹45,000 Two years
MSc Mathematics ₹9,000 Two years
MA English ₹9,000 Two years

The annual online MBA payment is ₹15,000 above online BCom and ₹25,000 above online BBA. These are annual academic-fee comparisons only. The programme selected in the online admission account determines the amount due.

Estimated Full-Course Online Fees

At unchanged annual rates, online BBA tuition would total ₹60,000 over three years and BCom ₹90,000. Two years of online MBA would also total ₹90,000. MSc Mathematics and MA English would each total ₹18,000. Any separate charge or later revision would change the final payment.

The online BCom and MBA estimates happen to be equal because their annual rates and durations differ. BCom involves three ₹30,000 payments, while MBA involves two ₹45,000 payments. This does not mean that their yearly payment demands are the same.

Campus MBA and Online MBA Comparison

The reported campus MBA course amount is ₹4.05 lakh, compared with the calculated ₹90,000 online estimate at the June 2026 rate. The difference is ₹3.15 lakh in these academic amounts. Hostel or other residential payments would be separate for a campus student.

Campus MBA and Online MBA Comparison
MBA mode Basis Academic amount
Campus MBA Reported 2026 course fee ₹4,05,000
Online MBA Annual rate, June 2026 ₹45,000
Online MBA, two-year estimate ₹45,000 × 2, assuming no revision ₹90,000

Students applying for a later online intake should use the rate for that intake. The June 2026 quotation should not be presented as a guaranteed 2027 fee. Campus students should also use their own offer and fee portal, rather than the online centre's annual amount.

Sathyabama Scholarships

SAEEE Scholarship

The university's prospectus states that the top 25 SAEEE rank holders receive a full tuition-fee waiver. This award is tied to entrance performance. It is separate from the Chancellor's scholarship, which recognises academic performance after students begin their degree.

A full tuition waiver concerns the tuition component. Students need the scholarship award to establish the exact coverage and continuation conditions for their admission. They should not assume that every payment, such as an optional service or a separately billed residential item, is included merely because the award is described as full tuition support.

Anbu Scholarship

The Anbu scheme supports academically deserving students who lack financial support. Sathyabama works with NGOs to identify applicants and assess their circumstances. Its prospectus describes assistance for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, including orphans, students with disabilities, children of war widows and acid-attack survivors.

The university's scholarship policy specifies academic and family-income conditions for the standard Anbu assessment, with relaxation for some groups. Shortlisted applicants undergo a test and interview. The policy describes selected awards covering tuition, books, examinations and hostel fees; the student's award determines the actual benefit.

Applicants should provide the marksheets and family or category records required for their application. Where an NGO supports the application, it may help verify the applicant's circumstances. Selection is made through the university's scholarship process, so a general admission offer does not automatically confirm an Anbu award.

Chancellor's Merit Scholarship

The Chancellor's scheme rewards the top three students according to the relevant semester results. For the listed four-year engineering, design and pharmacy courses, the policy provides tuition waivers of 5% in the second year, 10% in the third and 15% in the fourth, based on the preceding cumulative results.

The percentages differ for other course durations. Students should use the award applicable to their own degree and academic year. This scholarship recognises continued performance during university study; it is not a fixed reduction that every new applicant can subtract from the admission fee.

Government Scholarship Support

The university also helps students apply for eligible government and private scholarships. Its student handbook directs minority-scholarship queries to the scholarship office. Such schemes have their own income, category, domicile or academic conditions and application deadlines.

Students receiving an external scholarship should keep the sanction record with their fee receipts. The university account can then show the approved credit and any amount still payable. An application submitted to a scheme is different from an award that has been sanctioned and credited.

Hostel and Mess Payments

Sathyabama provides separate hostel facilities for male and female students. A current room-wise hostel fee has not been confirmed. The residential payment should therefore be obtained with the hostel allotment rather than added as an estimated standard charge to every campus course.

The hostel demand should identify accommodation, mess and any deposit payable for the allotted room. Students receiving a scholarship that includes hostel support should obtain confirmation of that component before paying the balance. This is particularly relevant for Anbu awards, whose support can cover more than tuition.

Fee Payment and Receipts

The university links its payment service through the Sathyabama fee page. The online centre permits card and net-banking payments through the fee portal and describes an Indian Bank challan option for cash payment. Students should use the payment link for their actual course and mode.

After payment, the receipt should show the student or application details, programme and amount paid. The university's Student Help Desk assists with fee receipts and bonafide certificates. Students who need records for an education-loan or scholarship application can request the relevant documents through that support service.

Admission payments follow the deadline in the offer, while later academic payments follow the university demand. Any approved scholarship credit should appear against the appropriate fee component. The full-course figures, annual online rates and scholarship benefits above should each remain linked to their stated year and conditions.
