Ques. Is ACET conducted once a year or multiple times?
Ans. ACET is conducted once a year as a single exam cycle for admission to B.Sc, BCA, BBA, and allied health sciences programmes at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for the following academic session. There is no second window or re-exam for the same session. A candidate who misses the ACET 2027 registration window must wait for ACET 2028. This is distinct from AEEE (Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination), which covers B.Tech admissions and is held separately.
Ques. Who conducts ACET 2027?
Ans. ACET 2027 is conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, a deemed-to-be university accredited NAAC A++ and ranked among the top universities in India by NIRF. Ans. ACET 2027 is used for admission to B.Sc, BCA, BBA, and allied health sciences programmes at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham campuses in Coimbatore, Kochi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Amaravati, and Faridabad. Confirm the specific programmes covered by ACET 2027 in the official information bulletin at amrita.edu.
Ques. Is ACET 2027 online or pen-and-paper?
Ans. ACET 2027 is a computer-based test (CBT), not a pen-and-paper exam. Candidates appear at designated Amrita test centres across India and answer questions on a computer screen. There is no OMR sheet or written component. The exam is timed and candidates can review answers before submitting. The admit card will mention the specific test centre address and reporting time.
Ques. What is the time gap between the ACET admit card and the exam date?
Ans. Based on the ACET 2026 pattern, the admit card was released approximately one to two weeks before the exam date. Shortlisted candidates are contacted by the Amrita admissions office and directed to complete document verification either at the campus or via an online process, as specified in the offer letter.
Ques. Can a candidate apply to multiple Amrita campuses through one ACET form?
Ans. Yes. The ACET 2027 application form at amrita.edu allows a candidate to select up to three campus preferences in order of choice. You pay the application fee only once, regardless of how many campuses you list. Amrita considers your preferences alongside your merit rank when sending the offer letter. If you are eligible for a seat at your first-preference campus, you will not be automatically moved to a less preferred campus.
