ACET 2027 Eligibility Criteria (Before You Apply)

ACET has one of the most open eligibility structures among professional entrance exams in India — no age limit, no stream restriction, no domicile condition, and unlimited attempts. Verify the full criteria at actuariesindia.org/about-acet before applying.

Note: ACET has no domicile or state restrictions — students from any Indian state or from abroad can apply. IAI is a national-level body; there are no region-based quotas or conditions.

How to Fill ACET Application Form 2027

The ACET 2027 registration will be entirely online at actuariesindia.org. Once the window opens, you will complete two phases: new registration and form filling. The steps below reflect IAI’s established process from recent sessions.

Phase 1: New Registration

1. Visit actuariesindia.org/acet and click the registration link for the applicable 2027 session (June or December).
2. Click "New Registration" and enter your full name, date of birth, email address, and mobile number exactly as they appear on your Class 10 certificate.
3. Verify your email address and mobile number using the OTPs sent to each.
4. Set a strong password and note your Application Number carefully — you will need it for all future logins, admit card download, and result access.
5. Save your login credentials in a secure location — they are required at every subsequent stage of the ACET process.

Phase 2: Fill the Application Form

1. Log in at actuariesindia.org using your Application Number and password.
2. Fill in your personal details: full name, date of birth, gender, nationality, and correspondence address.
3. Fill in your academic details: Class 10 and 12 board, year of passing, roll number, and percentage of marks obtained.
4. Select the ACET session — June 2027 or December 2027. Note: ACET is home-based online; you will not be asked to choose an exam centre.
5. Upload your passport-size photograph and signature in the format and file size specified in the registration form instructions.
6. Review all details carefully before proceeding — cross-check your name, date of birth, and email, as ACET does not provide an online correction window after submission.
7. Submit the form. Registration is currently free — no fee payment step is required.
8. Download and save your confirmation page or acknowledgement PDF — keep a copy for your records throughout the ACET process.

Documents Required for ACET Application Form 2027

Keep scanned copies of the following documents ready before you begin the ACET 2027 registration. All uploads are done digitally on the IAI portal — no physical submission of documents is required.

Note: Upload a recent passport-size photograph with a white background and clear face visibility. Do not upload edited, filtered, or studio-retouched photographs — these are rejected during scrutiny and may result in disqualification of your application.

ACET Application Fee 2027

The ACET application fee is currently free of cost (₹0) for all students. IAI waived the registration fee from May 2024 onwards. No category-based fee differential applies — all students register at zero cost.

Payment modes: Not applicable as registration is currently free. If IAI reintroduces a fee for the 2027 cycle, payment will be accepted via Debit Card, Credit Card, and Net Banking at the official portal. No offline payment (cheque, demand draft, or cash) is accepted.

ACET Application Form Correction 2027

Unlike most national entrance exams, ACET does not provide an online form correction window. IAI’s official policy states that details cannot be altered via the portal once the application form is submitted. This makes it especially important to verify every entry before you click Submit — errors discovered after submission have no guaranteed remedy.

What to Do If You Made an Error After Submission

1. Email acet@actuariesindia.org immediately with the subject line: "ACET Form Correction Request — [Your Application Number]"
2. In the email, include your Application Number, registered email address, the field containing the error, the incorrect value currently on your form, and the correct value you need it changed to.
3. IAI reviews such requests on a case-by-case basis — correction is not guaranteed. Acting quickly (well before the exam date) improves the chance of resolution.
4. If IAI confirms the correction, download the revised confirmation page from your portal and verify the change.
