Durham College of Applied Arts and Technology offers around 4 diplomae, 6 advanced diplomae, 2 certificates, 3 graduate, and 8 bachelors programs. Visa Process for International Students

  • After the student is selected for admission, apply for and receive a study permit from the IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada) and also obtain a work permit if the selected program specifies.
  • Students are advised by the institute to contact a VAC (Visa Application Centre) of choice to assist in the visa application.
  • VACs charge a fee for the processing of documents and are responsible for the safe delivery applicant’s passport, application and biometric information to the Government of Canada.
  • Requirements for a study permit are: valid passport, Application fee, Evidence of sufficient funds, Medical examination, Biometrics
  • Temporary Visa Permit: This visa can be both single and multiple entries. The requirements for a temporary residence visa are Valid passport, Specified application fee, Offer of admission received from college, Evidence of sufficient funds, and Medical exam.
