Holland College Admission Deadlines

The college encourages all the applicants to submit their admission applications before February 28. Those applying for the entrance scholarship must complete their application process by the issued date.

Applicants must note that the college may accept application after the given deadline. However, this will highly depend upon the number of available seats.

Holland College Admission Guidelines

Aspirants need to submit their completed application before the last day of February each year, to qualify for the first round of assessment. Some of the application prerequisites are given below:

  • Applicants must submit their resume once the application is completed.
  • A valid email address and a valid Visa or Mastercard.

English Language Proficiency Requirements

Holland College requires students to demonstrate English language proficiency, irrespective of their citizenship. Applicants can prove the same in the following ways:

  • Post-secondary school for a minimum of 3 consecutive years wherein the language of instruction and examination is English. Applicants who have studied in Canada can prove their bilingualism of English and one other language.
  • Attempting an English proficiency test score. Applicants must meet the minimum score requirement of any one of the tests given below:

Holland College Diploma/Certificate Admissions

Holland offers a wide range of 1-year and 2-year diploma/certificate. The programs are available in Full-time, part-time, and online mode. To apply, applicants are required to submit an online application along with $100 application processing fee.

Admission Requirements

Majority of the programs at Holland have specific academic requirements. In order to obtain admission, applicants must fulfill these requirements.

Study Permit for International Students

International applicants require a permit to study in Canada. It is not exactly a visa but it allows international students to stay in Canada for the duration of their course.

To receive the study permit, applicants require the following documents:

  • An acceptance letter from the Canadian Institute.
  • An identity proof i.e a valid passport
  • 2 passport size photographs.
  • Proof that the applicants can support themselves financially.
  • Letter of explanation (This will help the visa officer understand your intentions for going to Canada)

Presently, Canada is offering the Student Direct Stream to the legal citizens of a few countries (China, India, Philippines, and Vietnam). Through this, the applicants of these countries can receive their study permits within 20 days. To be eligible for this, applicants must:

  • provide proof of first-year tuition fee payment
  • have a GIC (Guaranteed Investment Certificate) of 10,000 CAD
  • submit the report of medical exam
  • submit a police certificate
