I have majorly always wanted to pursue a career in filming. I came to know about this college through my cousin living in Canada. I applied to a number of colleges, around 7 to 8. My admission process mainly involved sending in my documents and academic papers. An application fee of around $100 was also paid by me while I applied through the online portal.
My course delivered skills needed by emerging filmmakers. The subjects included in my curriculum were screenwriting fundamentals, comedy writing, drama writing, feature film writing, and business of film. The course provided me with in-depth knowledge about the subject and helped me to gain skills in film production and management.
I have wished to study a film production course abroad. Upon doing thorough research I liked the course offered by the Toronto Film School and applied to it. I applied to the college through the online portal after paying an application fee of $500. I scored 84% in my 12th exams and submitted all my transcripts.
I found the course curriculum to be engaging and enlightening. The courses that were taught to us were film history, editing, cinematography, production, scripts, promotional media. The program covers all the aspects of film production including scripts, cameras, promotions, and light scenes. The course is taught by going over productions such as Beauty and the Beast, Black Panther.
