Campus and Residential Facilities

It offers various facilities and services to its students. The campus various buildings, Lusi Wong Library, The Luscott Ministry Center, the Great Hall cafeteria and the Chapel of St. Bede.

Lusi Wong Library

Students can access over 7 million items through the TriUniversityGroup of Libraries (TUG) system. The students can access hundreds of millions of online journal articles. The library specializes in Applied Language Studies, Studies in Islam, Social Development Studies, East Asian Studies, Renison’s Social Work and English as a Second Language program.

The Luscott Ministry Centre

Students can relax, enjoy free cookies, tea and coffee and can be a part of various stress relief activity.It has the Renison Institute of Ministry, where students can participate in workshops, retreats and non-credit courses. It also consists of a Chaplin, where students learn to value spiritual lives and learn to connect to people to other resources when necessary.

Chapel of St. Bede

It is the Anglican chapel at Renison University College. It is open 24 hours and is a quiet place for prayer or meditation. Sunday morning worships and midweek prayers are held and officiated by the College’s chaplain.

  • It also has institutes and schools namely, Confucius Institute, English Language Institute, King Sejong Institute, Renison Institute of Ministry, Sakura Japanese Language School and School of Social Work.

Housing Facilities and Residence

It is centrally located on Waterloo campus. It has 4 types of rooms.

  • The Renison’s cafeteria offers 19 meal times per week.

Application requirements are different for the levels of study, the applicant is applying for.

Pre-requisites for Post-secondary students

  • Transfer credits (up to 2 units) 4 courses

First or Second Division standing in one of the following:

  • All India Senior School Certificate awarded by CBSE.
  • Indian School Certificate awarded by CISCE.
  • other pre-university certificate awarded after 12 years of academic studies

Pre-requisites for Graduate students

  • Minimum B average in an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 6 units in the applied subject
  • Transcripts
  • English language scores

How to apply for Admission?

Student can apply to multiple Waterloo programs (OUAC) or universities with one application.

  • Domestic applicants can apply using the OUAC 101 form www.ouac.on.ca/ouac-101
  • International applicants can apply through OUAC 105 form www.ouac.on.ca/ouac-105
  • Basic application fee for domestic students is CAD 150
  • Basic application fee for international students is CAD 166
