    Founded in 1973 as Parkland Regional College, the college got its present name in 2008. Located in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, the College has six campuses and one training centre. Parkland College offers bachelor’s degrees, diplomas, certificate and adult education and works greatly in the skill development area. The College is affiliated with the University of Saskatchewan, University of Regina, and Saskatchewan Polytechnic.

    Parkland College enrolls over 1,650 part-time and around 600 full-time students. The university has around 1% international students on campus mainly from countries like Bangladesh, Brazil, Chile, Fiji, Jamaica, India, Mauritius, Nepal, Nigeria, Philippines, Ukraine, and Vietnam. Programs at Parkland commence in August or September and the college does not offer January or Spring intake.     • The campus of Parkland College is located at 6 locations in East Central Saskatchewan and one training centre.

    I came to know about this college through facebook ads after which I was directed to the college website and came to know more about it. I paid $150 for the application fee. It was non-refundable.I opted for this programme because I loved doing social work.

    Course Curriculum :

    I personally felt that the course could have been improved with some more practical learning the course is anyways interactive. I gained enough knowledge which I mainly wanted

    I wanted to get into this university because they had such a beautiful campus and the location was also great and the job opportunities in that city were also high, hence I decided to opt for it. After securing a GPA of 7, I had to submit a common application form.

    Course Curriculum :

    I was wishing to enter careers in life science and health professions careers and this program is training meto do so. Agriculture and agriculture technology, basic research, medial/pharmaceutical research, science writing, medicine, therapeutics, kinesiology, sustainability and environmental biology, and many other careers will have my roots in a basic understanding of biology.
