Trent University Undergraduate Admissions

The admission process for international applicants is the same as that for Canadian applicants. However, international applicants have to meet additional requirements. Also, they have to carefully review their visa process.

The School offers 19 degree programs and 34 streams of study – each rich in research and experiential learning opportunities.

Admission Requirements:

Given below are the admission requirements for a few of the countries.

  • India – ICSE/CBSE class 12th certificate along with the mark sheet with a minimum aggregate of 70%
  • Bangladesh – SSC and HSC certificate with a minimum score of 3.0
  • China – Academic transcripts of classes 10, 11, and 12 with a minimum aggregate of 75% accompanied with a school-leaving certificate, and Huikao and Gaokao scores.
  • Pakistan – Higher secondary and secondary school certificate along with the mark sheet with a minimum aggregate of 50%.
  • Afghanistan – 
    • Applicants are required to take Baccalauria examination in Science, Mathematics and Humanities and University Entrance Exam (Concours) after the completion of class 12.
    • Academic transcripts of 10-12 class.
    • It is essential to acquire a minimum Grade of C in all the subjects.

Trent University Visa Requirements

  • Trent recommends the applicants to submit the admission application at least 6 months prior to the course start date.
  • Applicants are required to visit www.cic.gc.ca to seek detailed information related to study permit and immigration.
  • Students are required to produce a copy of the study permit before the commencement of class.
  • Students below the age of 19 must discuss with their local consultant about the documents required for seeking legal guardianship until they turn 19.
