The best

Placement -

internship is for 1 year and we were getting 20000 stipend per month, job opportunities are good but most of the students want to get into post graduation courses. After mbbs we can work in private hospitals or in government hospitals

India Today states it is the 7th best professional college in India.

Placement -

There will be like no placements in medical college. But all I can say all the doctors of Bangalore Medical College are well settled.

Internship -

Yea, compulsory 1yr internship. It will be in 4 hospitals. Victoria Hospital, Vanivila Hospital, Minto eye hospital, and Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital. Since its a government college. The government pays 20K per month for a 1-year internship.

My Rollercoaster ride at BMCRI!

Placement -

Since ours is a Medical College, there is no point of placements happening. But students of our college definitely earn their seats for post graduation at the best colleges all over India.

Internship -

Yes our college offers an internship. I have no experience in this regard as I am currently a 2nd year student. Internship lasts for about a year. Students are placed under all departments from Trauma and Casualty to Medicine and Surgery. They are also sent to other hospitals outside the College to add on to their experience.

Adventurous experience.

Placement -

Actually getting into BMC is a great deal and if the performance is consistent then chances of securing a good field in a good clg is high. But nothing as such placement or job on our profession. So preparing get by oneself is a must to secure a good rank and managing time during Internship is a great deal.

Internship -

Yes, general stipend us 20 thousand per month. Overall experience it's Linda hectic. As its a government clg, crowd is more and we have night shifts. But its not too hectic.

An experience worth a life time.

Placement -

It's not like any other engineering colleges where you need to get placements or you need to depend on them. As soon as you finish there are plenty of job opportunities - you can work in plenty of corporate hospitals , nursing home. There wasn't any difficulty in getting a job but 99% (atleast from our college)of undergraduate don't work because they need to prepare for their post graduate entrance exams which very tough and requires serious preparation.

Internship -

Yes , we have Victoria hospital, vanivillas hospital, minto hospital and bowring and lady Curzon hospitals attached to our institute . The general stipend is 15,000 when we started and was later on hiked to 20,000 after a ten day strike by the doctors association of Karnataka.

One of the best college.

Placement -

Well one thing BMCRI is very famous for the PG candidates our college gives every year. So yes this is good Opportunity for me and for everyone else out there looking to do MBBS.

Internship -

Internship is the best or worst period (depends upon how you take it)We used to get so many cases , So yes we used to get tired like hell but nonetheless we learnt from those. Internship is the time when we learnt to live for patients.

Placement -

Being a respected college with leading and sought out doctors in the state, recommendations carry weight. But undergraduates seek post graduation. Opportunities before employment opportunities.

Internship -

Internship really greatest learning experience. Really blessed to have worked in hospitals like Victoria, Bowring and Lady Curzon, Minto eye hospital and others.Stipend as of 2015 November Rs. 20,000.
