Course Curriculum Overview:

Even though the curriculum is large and hectic for students it gives a clear idea of how to approach to patients and practical part in clinics and early clinical exposure made me choose this course. Teaching method can be improved by bringing back chalk and board education system to collleges and by dividing the large group of students to units so faculties can give more attention to every student. Frequency of exams is every 3 months and then final exam with 1 month study leave but is very difficult to cover portions in the provided study leave.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The only reason for me to take up this course is parental pressure and the misconception that there is much money involved. I was very disappointed about joining the course. The sheer academic pressure is too much for a student to handle, and the attitude of most faculty members does not at all help the situation. Many students of this course suffer from clinical depression. The job opportunities without undergoing postgraduate which is 10 times as hectic are abysmal. Work conditions after getting a job is ver bad. No time for personal life, salary considering the amount of work one has to put in is abysmal. The academic schedule although hectic involves a lot of rot all of which may not help in real-life situations. University exams are held every year, and covering the entire portion is a very difficult task.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is MBBS so it is obviously difficult. Basic 11 and 12 grade knowledge is enough for the first year MBBS. I was a person who loved biology so that's why I took this course. We have University exams conducted once a year and those exams are really crucial. Small unit exams are also conducted by our colleges to make us elligable for writting University exams each year. 75 percent attendance is mandatory for writing exams.

Firstly I don't like the course .But, gradually the CBME curriculum is modified the medical field into new era through teaching methods , self directed learning , small group discussions , seminars etc. This curriculum is giving more importance to applications and practicals rather than theory classes.
