AIET Visakhapatnam Faculty

There are approximately 200-300 teaching staff, with 70% holding a Ph.D. and the rest being postgraduates, mostly M.Tech graduates. The faculty are generally well-educated, knowledgeable, and approachable for resolving student queries. The faculty-to-student interaction is mostly positive and supportive, although some faculty members are described as strict or challenging.

Practical knowledge is emphasized through excellent lab facilities, internships, and workshops. The faculty also play a role in helping students achieve recognition in events like state-level project exhibitions. Despite some criticisms regarding arrogance or strict rules, the overall teaching quality is appreciated, with faculty providing good support for exams and career guidance. The faculty-student ratio is considered manageable, fostering a friendly and interactive learning environment.
