Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a three-year engineering diploma in a relevant branch from a recognised board, or a B.Sc degree with Mathematics at 10+2 level.

A minimum aggregate of 45 percent in the diploma is required (40 percent for SC/ST/OBC candidates in Karnataka).

A valid Karnataka Diploma CET (DCET) rank is required for government and COMEDK quota seats; management quota applicants apply directly to BMSIT.

Lateral entry admits candidates directly into the second year (third semester) of the BE programme.

Admission Process

Appear in Karnataka DCET and obtain a valid rank.

Register for KEA centralised counselling at kea.kar.nic.in (or COMEDK counselling at comedk.org) and list BMSIT Bangalore in your preferences.

On seat allotment, report to BMSIT with original mark sheets, transfer certificate, migration certificate, and caste or income certificate if applicable.

Pay the prescribed fee and complete enrolment at the BMSIT admissions office, Yelahanka, Bengaluru.
