BMSIT Ph.D Mechanical Engineering: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Ans. The Ph.D. research fee at BMSIT Bangalore is INR 61,200 per year, totalling INR 1,83,600 over the minimum three-year duration, as regulated by VTU. A one-time counselling and registration fee applies separately.

Ans. Candidates must hold a master’s degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline with a minimum of 55 percent aggregate or equivalent CGPA (50 percent for SC/ST/OBC), and qualify the VTU research entrance test or hold a valid GATE, UGC-NET, or equivalent fellowship.
