BIET Davanagere Admission 2027 is open for BE, M.Tech, MCA, MBA and Ph.D. BIET is the Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology on Shamanur Road, Davanagere. It is an autonomous college affiliated to VTU, and it does not hold its own entrance test. BE seats are filled through KCET and KEA counselling, through COMEDK UGET, or through the management quota. M.Tech, MCA and MBA seats are filled through Karnataka PGCET and KEA counselling, and M.Tech also takes GATE. For 2026 to 27, a BE student on a KCET seat paid INR 1,50,320 a year. KCET 2027 registration should open on 17 Jan 2027 (tentative, based on last year).

BIET offers BE in 13 branches with 1,480 seats in all. Computer Science and Engineering is the largest branch, with 510 seats. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning has 240 seats, and Information Science has 150. Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology have 30 seats each. Your rank and the order of your options decide the branch you get.

You need to pass Class 12 with Physics and Maths. Your third subject can be Chemistry, Biology or Computer Science. You need 45% in these subjects. If you belong to a reserved group, you need 40%. You also need a KCET rank for a KEA seat or a COMEDK UGET rank for a COMEDK seat.

BIET offers M.Tech in five branches with 114 seats. Structural Engineering, IoT and Sensor Systems, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, and Cyber Security have 24 seats each. Environmental Engineering has 18 seats. KEA fills 80% of the seats, and BIET fills the other 20% under the management quota.
