Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a three-year Diploma in Engineering in Chemical Technology, Biotechnology, or Chemical Engineering from an AICTE-approved institution.

A minimum aggregate of 45 percent marks in the diploma programme is required (40 percent for SC/ST/OBC Karnataka candidates).

A valid DCET (Diploma Common Entrance Test) score from Karnataka Examination Authority is required for the lateral entry quota.

Management quota applicants may apply directly through BIET; VTU lateral entry norms must be satisfied.

Admission Process

Appear in DCET (Diploma Common Entrance Test) conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) and secure a valid rank.

Register for KEA lateral entry counselling at kea.kar.nic.in and choose BIET Davanagere in the college preference list.
