- Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
- Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
- Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college
Dislikes
- The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
- The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
- The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

Placement Experience:
Placement is very average. Specifically for Mechanical Engineering, it is very poor. At my time, the highest package was a 5.5 LPA in Mechanical Engineering. With an average package of 3LPA.
However, for the CS branch, placement is not an issue.

Placement Experience:
Companies visit the College during the 7th Semester for campus Placements.There are many companies like WIPRO, TCS, Accenture,Infosys, Tech Mahindra etc. visit during campus placement.The highest package in 2020 was 42 lacs and average package was 4.5 lakh for CSE/IT students.Most of the students are placed in the campus placement. My plans is to get placed in a good company with good package.

The course curriculum is too good for higher studies as well as for job purposes. I have taken CSE-AIML because I want to explore this field. The faculties are too good. They are always there to help students.

Placement Experience:
The training and placement cell is too good and to active. They provides placement to students almost 95 percent. The highest package is 22 LPA. And the average package is 5LPA. My plan is to get a good job in it sector.

The percentage of students getting placed differs from branch to branch. The average package of computer science engineering is about 8 lakh per annum whereas the average package of chemical engineering students is 6 lakh per annum.

Students are eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester. About 85% of students got placed in the current year and companies are coming now also to recruit students. The average package is about 4 lakhs and the highest on-campus placement is around 10 lakhs.

The companies visiting here are Tcs, Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, Oracle, Amazon, etc. Companies with higher LPA offer 10 to 20 offers while mass recruiters hire around 200 students. The highest package offered was by LinkedIn 41 LPA and the average is near 5 LPA. Almost 100 percent of students of CSE get placed. I wish to get a job at a good product based company after BTech.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Exams are usually held at the end of Jan and June . Papers are moderate tough and passing is bit difficult for students unless u apply a substantial amount of effort.College previous year papers and professors notes are enough if one goes through them properly it's sufficient. I choose CSE because in this branch having deals with software.and it sector is best in all companies and having a good package. Teacher are well qualified .and the students and teachers ratio is 30:1

I wish to get a job at a good product based company after BTechAmazon offers internships for SDE following which they get 32 LPA but very few students get recruited in Amazon

Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose the information technology department because it is offering lots of jobs in the field of IT. The teacher at Haldia institute of technology makes student-focused in achieving the goal by guiding them incorrect way. Regular tests and semester exams are organised in this college. In a week test is conducted and every semester exam is in 5-6 months respectively.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC
Courses:
The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.
Placements:
As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.
Fest:
The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
