- Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
- Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
- Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college
Dislikes
- The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
- The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
- The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

The highest package offered was by LinkedIn 41 LPA and the average is near 5 LPA. Almost 100 percent of students of CSE get placed. I wish to get a job at a good product based company after BTech.

Placement Experience:
Campus placement starts from 3rd year. Last year a total of 176 companies came to our college which include Microsoft , Amazon, Infosys, TCS and many other big and MNC companies. The average package is 5 lakh LPA. There a total 90% placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Exams are usually held at the end of January and June. Papers are moderate to tough and passing is a bit difficult for mediocre students unless you apply a substantial amount of effort. College previous year papers and professors' notes are enough. If one goes through them properly it's sufficient.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Here CSE students have a better chance. TCS, Infosys, and some other companies recruit students for internships. Amazon offers internships for SED following which they get 32 LPA but very few students get recruited in Amazon.

Our college the placement is good. At the end of 3rd year, you can apply for placement. Nowadays the placement record of hit is 40 l.p.a . If you study regularly and you have extracurricular activities you can grab a placement. TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO, TECH MAHINDRA, ADANI WILLMAR, HCL, etc topmost recruitment companies that are visited in this college.

Maximum of the students get placement in the college. About 80-90% of students get the placement. Companies like Wipro, Accenture, TCS are more come here every year to offer the students.
40 lakhs per annum is the highest package and about 4 lakhs per annum is the average of the college.
My plan is to give GATE and pursue M.Tech

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC
Courses:
The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.
Placements:
As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.
Fest:
The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
